All the predictable suspects have called the Broncos about trading into their No. 5 overall slot in the NFL Draft, Mike Klis of 9News in Denver rpeorts. The Miami Dolphins, who have the No. 11 pick, have called. The Buffalo Bills, who have the No. 12 selection, have checked in. The Arizona Cardinals, who have the No. 15 pick, have phoned. All three teams need a quarterback and they know the Broncos, with their No. 5 draft selection, may well be in a position to have the last of the Big 4 quarterbacks available. The Big 4 QBs: Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, Josh Rosen. Perhaps in that order, perhaps not.
Makes sense, nobody can get to 2 unless they have at least the 5 or 6 as a starting bargaining chip. The Giants are not walking away without one of Chubb, Nelson or Barkley.
The likely scenario would be a team trading up to 5 while Denver is on the clock or if Denver wants to much for everyone to Indy at 6 who has also expressed interest in trading down. The Giant deal seems like a longshot with too many moving parts
The only thing I don't want to see is the Bills trade up to there, because they will likely try to move further up afterwards and the Giants might actually consider it if they don't have to move all the way down to 12.
I don't think they have enough fire power to get to 2. getting to 5 or 6 will tap them out. I think they will get to 5 max. Cleveland has no reason to trade out of the 4 pick and miss on chubb/barkley (one will be there for sure)
