    Wow...Dez Bryant?
    I'd take that.

I don't know mick...if Dez Bryant fell all the way to 29, that would be a ridiculous steal.

...... It is. Yeah, it really is in terms of value.

but that fuckin Mays comment. They gotta stop with that.

The Jets have had the best success in the 1st round in the past 4 years in the NFL. Why fuck up on Mays. I know they are mocks, but if Clinkscales and crew go the same way I'd be sick.

I just want that safe pick that is going to ensure the success of the OL. One of them go down, you can take 2 games of the win column. Its an old line. A really old line at key spots in terms of continuing the success of the run game, which is the heart of the offense.

i'm becoming a zealot with the Pouncey pick, but i just don't trust the age of Faneca or Woody at this point.

I cant complain about Dez Bryant, if I were the Seahawks I would be pissed as hell coming away from that draft I know Spiller is a great talent but you gotta get a DE, or OT and Demaryous Thomas COME ON!

I agree on the same page with the McClain to the Broncos pick, but how do you take Sergio Kindle over Jason Pierre Paul. Also I think it would make more sense for the Bengals to take Jermain Gresham, think of how nasty that offense would be with Gresham

Normally I like Kirwan but I really don't know how he came up with Bryant falling all the way to 29.

rumors on rotoworld last night were that Bryant may fall out of the first completely...

    Dez Bryant-WR- Player Mar. 15 - 4:39 pm et

Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com writes that he "wouldn’t be surprised if (Dez) Bryant slips out of the first round entirely."

Marvez cites a recent ESPN The Magazine report that claimed Bryant was "notoriously unreliable" in college, and that "Getting him to focus on even simple tasks like attending class was a daily struggle." In addition to FOX and ESPN The Mag, the National Football Post, Cleveland Plain Dealer, and Yahoo have published negative reports about Bryant in the last month.

    Wow, Dez is dropping, huh?

I don't know how much stock to put into these reports that Bryant is a schmuck, but I certainly wouldn't cry if we snagged arguably the best wide receiver prospect in the class at the tail end of the first.

I also wouldn't cry if the Buccaneers traded us a king's ransom for the spot.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned that we haven't heard anything about increasing our o-line depth this off-season. Hunter's done well in a very limited capacity, and I'd like to believe Slauson could develop into something, but guaranteeing the dominance of our offensive line should be a priority for us.

Our current line has 35 consecutive starts as a whole. That's a damned impressive statistic, but it would be a mistake for this franchise to assume they'll reach 50 without an injury.

    Knock on wood. Big time.

and with the age, its a matter of time before Faneca or Woody go down. Maybe even Moore.

Woody can be replaced. He's the weakest link on the strong line. Faneca is next due to his bad pass blocking, but his run blocking is the reason why he's still a Pro Bowler... that, and reputation.

Pouncey is that safe pick like Mangold was at 29. And Pouncey can fill in a C, and both Guard positions.

If a projected top-15 pick like Bryant falls to 29, I don't see steal, I see the trade value of 29 instantly going from a 2+5, to a 2+[3/4].

i would hate this pick. i want pouncy, S or the best DE possible at that spot

the wr corps are not horrible....and not a place of need.

sure up both lines.......improve the defense......then worry about wr

Any "news" coming out about Bryant dropping is probably from a team hoping he falls to them.

Dez Bryant isn't going to fall to us at 29.

If Bryant was available at #29..it's a no brainer...but it ain't happening.

Again, if by some miracle Bryant fell, the Jets would have to take him.
He would represent, far and away, the greatest value on the board.

Of course, if Berry fell that'd be friggin' sweet too. Neither are going to happen.

If Dez Bryant falls to us I would trade down for someone in need of WR help like Tampa Bay or Kansas City. With the other picks we can till get a slot WR like Golden Tate and add an extra pick to help shore up our depth and age issues in the trenches on either side of the ball in one of the deepest draft in years.

No offense, but that's moronic. Absolutely moronic. And I'm not one to point out people for being dumb, I usually just let the stupid fly, seeing as how there's SO much of it on this board recently. BUT, that's obnoxiously foolish.

    No. See above.

Kindle over JPP because Kindle can absolutely play LB in a 34, Pierre Paul probably can't at his size.

If the Jets sat at 29 and got Dez freaking Bryant I would legitimately shit my pants. How anyone couldn't be happy with that I have no idea. Jesus Christ, there are people here that'd be happy to get Golden Tate, and some of you are knocking Dez. And for a Center?? Cmoon, please get serious.

GH if Dez Bryant fell to us, would you select him or trade the pick?
