We need to trade back and pick up another pick, then snag a center. I think JOK is too small for LB in the NFL and is not fluid enough for Safety.

A large part of me wants to trade back but with Creed, Jenkins, and Williams sitting there right now, I have no clue what to do lol

JOK or Jenkins, I really don't think Jets touch center in this draft. This is likely a spot to trade down and recoup a pick.

Still so much talent left, like others would love to recoup a 3rd here while moving down a couple spots.

If we stay, JOK, Jenkins, Williams all great options.

Lots of picks I'm fine with, but I am on board with getting a RB, so Williams would be at the top of my wish list. That said, there are a bunch of names that won't upset me.

This is 100% where I am. Following the move to get Vera-Tucker there's a huge gap between 34 and their next pick at 107 due to comp picks. It'd be awesome to capitalize on this prime 2nd rounder and trade back to bridge that gap a bit (or make crazy profit for next year).

But to use the pick and potentially walk away with two linemen with clear 1st round grades? Given all we've been through for the last 10-15 years with developing and maintaining a consistent oline... man that would feel GOOD.

Especially in the wake of taking a QB with the 2nd overall pick.

On second thought, idea of trading down and recoping one of the 3rd rounders might be ideal. Than go either OL or WR or CB. I am fine with either.

I love your new avatar. Do you want us to change your Handle from Darnasty to Wilnasty? :)

Really depends on the offer, if it’s a high 3rd trade back, if it’s a bottom of the 3rd then take the best plug and play available player, 3 plug and play players of offense is not a bad draft.

Jets can’t build a whole team in one draft, next years draft will be used to add finishing touches to the roster. The foundation will be in place this year.

Am I the only one that Revis ruined the cornerback position for? I think about getting corners and know they'll never be as good as Revis was in 09 and just move on to a a different position.

JOK at WLB would be a good fit.

I get that. The standard around the league is that good corners still get beat a lot, which is something that has taken some getting used to as that wasn't Revis' standard. But I just can't see going into week 1 with the corners on the roster right now

The corners we have reminds me of the WRs we had before FA. Add a player in the right spot and it becomes a completely different unit. I'm fine if that is what they do at 34.

Another OL, which combines need and value, is my top choice - Jenkins and Humphrey especially. Can't be upset for infusing the OL with more talent. Definitely a strong case can be made for JOK. I wouldn't be upset with a trade down either, but if they stick at 34 they can for sure get another potential impact starter on the OL.

With CB, given the youth at the position and the relative strength of the free agent CB market (i.e. Richard Sherman, Steven Nelson, Brian Poole), they might be able to more comfortably pass on a CB and maybe add another prospect later.

JOK would make a lot of sense too though I also hope they can get a decent OLB prospect in the 4th and I prioritize another OL over an OLB.

I think they can find good scheme fits and value at RB in the 4th

I voted for Jenkins, but if he's not there, I'd prefer trading back a few spots and then taking the BPA OL or RB. At that point we can start considering a good CB.

Azeez Ojulari is the only defensive player I would consider with 34 if Jets take defensive player. The new defensive scheme is going to keep everything in front of them and count on pass rush to get to QB.

My preference is still Creed or a trade back depending on offer.
