Zach Wilson with an early highlight today - a deep TD throw to Jeff Smith, who beat Bryce Hall.— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) June 15, 2022
Zach Wilson laser to Elijah Moors on first down. Beat Gardner on out. Next play a long touchdown to Jeff Smith. Down left sideline. He was open, but a perfect pass. Strong start #Jets— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) June 15, 2022 Zach Wilson started 11 on 11 with two big plays.A deep out breaking ball to Elijah Moore. Then threw a deep touchdown to Jeff Smith. Smith beat Bryce Hall. He was by himself.— DJ Bien-Aime (@Djbienaime) June 15, 2022 1537104897358929920 is not a valid tweet id
Jeff smith with another nice play over the middle. Rocket from Wilson.— DJ Bien-Aime (@Djbienaime) June 15, 2022 Mims alert. Caught a nice pass over the middle from Flacco— DJ Bien-Aime (@Djbienaime) June 15, 2022
Denzel Mims just made a contested catch deep down right side of field. Nice grab. He’s flashing more. Had an early catch in deep crosser #Jets— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) June 15, 2022
WR5 battle between Jeff Smith and Mims is going to be fun and I'm kinda not kidding. But what a nice spot to be in... worrying about WR5 instead of WR1 and 2.
Good start for Zach Wilson in 11 on 11. Completes 6 of 9, including 2 catches apiece for J Smith and Berrios. Smith beats Bryce Hall for a long TD. Wilson zips a nice one over a LB to Berrios in a seam. #Jets— Rich Cimini (@RichCimini) June 15, 2022 Another strong start to team drills for Zach Wilson. He completed six of nine, highlighted by the long touchdown to Jeff Smith. Building off yesterday. #Jets— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) June 15, 2022 Zach Wilson went 6 for 9 during 11 on 11 period with efficiency and a big bomb to Jeff Smith for a TD.— DJ Bien-Aime (@Djbienaime) June 15, 2022 Zach Wilson with a strong start in 11 v 11, going 6-of-9 in the first two sets of reps. Highlight came on the second play: he found Jeff Smith who beat Bryce Hall down the left sideline for a long TD. Mostly good, quick decisions. Smith had two catches as did Berrios.— Andy Vasquez (@andy_vasquez) June 15, 2022
Elijah Moore looks … like he’s him out here today. He looks fast, quick, sharp all of it.— DJ Bien-Aime (@Djbienaime) June 15, 2022
Zach Wilson again. This one in 7-on-7 drills. Long touchdown to Jeff Smith over Bryce Hall. Offensive sideline went nuts. Wilson, again, having a very good day— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) June 15, 2022 Another beautiful throw by Wilson deep to Jeff Smith for a long TD. Wilson looks sharp today.— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) June 15, 2022 Zach Wilson with a terrific deep throw to Jeff Smith, who made a great one-handed grab for the TD. #Jets— Al Iannazzone (@Al_Iannazzone) June 15, 2022
1537109643956260870 is not a valid tweet id Zach Wilson’s play of the offseason — a (roughly) 50-yard TD to Jeff Smith in 7 on 7. It was a dime. Wilson dropped it in the bucket beautifully. Several teammates celebrated. Major-league throw. #Jets— Rich Cimini (@RichCimini) June 15, 2022
One-handed grab, back corner of the end zone, TD, Zach Wilson to Jeff Smith 25-30 yards-ish. Solid coverage by Isaiah Dunn, stride for stride, but the placement was perfect, timing in rhythm. #Jets— Robby Sabo (@RobbySabo) June 15, 2022
Thanks for all the updates! Completions are encouraging. Any reports on how he looks in terms of decision-making, speed of decisions, going through progressions? Those are the keys.
Zach Wilson’s good production during the day has faltered in goal line 7 on 7.He went 1-for-5 and just threw an interception to Sauce Gardner during his first series of reps pic.twitter.com/BEUVw6OR2x— DJ Bien-Aime (@Djbienaime) June 15, 2022 I am happy/sad.
Sauce Gardner is getting going. Full-team, two-minute drill. Impressive pass breakup of deep Wilson shot for Davis. Looked like Davis had a step but Gardner closed it, jumped up, ripped ball away. There’s no denying how talented Gardner is. #Jets— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) June 15, 2022 Exactly what you want to see. WR had a step, QB made the right throw but the CB still broke it up.
I absolutely loved the initial premise of this thread and thank all here that actually stuck to the script and provide us with much needed information about OTA and training camp. Unfortunately as many threads, sooner or later it gets derailed by personal views which right or wrong, often have zero to do with the initial intent of the thread and take a different life of their own. Im grateful to the many contributors for the many links, tweets and videos that actually provide us with some much needed perspective and insight on what is actually going on in OTAs. In my view, the focus is all about the future of this team and it starts with baby steps in OTA, and on thru training camp. As I said before, past be damned. I have no interest in reliving it and being reminded of our past ineptitude at every turn.Hope our future is brighter, much brighter for a change.
The Becton vibes are concerning still. A lot of good otherwise. I'll take It. It's very early still but It really does seem like we are a much different team already, for the good. I'm excited for this season.
Nice to hear that Sauce is flashing. It would be a real buzz kill if another 1st round pick shit the bed. Looks like he got his number... let's pray he earns it. https://nypost.com/2022/06/14/jets-rookie-sauce-gardner-pays-50000-for-no-1-jersey/
