Did we give up a 2nd or a 3rd to San Diego for the rights of Cromartie? There was many requirements. Did we meet them all?
I'm pretty sure it's a 2nd rounder, which is why we really need to bring back cro. 2nd rounder for a 1 year rental? No thanks!
while i understand why you're saying that, it's such flawed logic. The 2nd round pick is gone regardless of him returning or not, it's essentially a sunk cost. If we can put a similar player at CB2 at much less the cost, then it is the right move to make. If Cromartie is going to demand a lot of money, than the extra cost is not worth the extra benefit that he would provide. If you can get more players that will help using the money that you save by not re-signing Cro to an expensive contract, than you do that 10/10 times
While I agree that Cro doesn't have to be first priority, is it really necessary to sign two WRs (in a run heavy offense) before him?
Your post wont be taken well. And either will mine. Hope Kyle Wilson can show us something, even on special teams! Bust.
I agree he played at boise, We need a CB from a bigger school. Boise is over rated!! Some will now say look at revis well he came out of Pitt and big east is still good.
That's a great point. They should really stop drafting players from outside of the major conferences, I can't think of one player who's ever done anything in the NFL from non BCS schools. Not a one.
No, you don't bring back players because you gave up a 2nd for him. You bring back a player if he's worth keeping. The pick compensation is irrelevant because you have to give it up either way.
