As it is Christmas, I want to provide a break to our great moderator @KY Jets Fan We are traveling to Cleveland to take on the Browns. This is a must win game for Browns. Can Jets play the spoilers? Who knows.
In typical Jets fashion, we're going to see a former QB of ours come in completely blow our doors off just four days after the announcement that all of these clowns are keeping their jobs and then we almost blew a 20-point lead to the shittiest NFC team not named the Panthers. If Jacoby Brissett can make the '85 Bears look absolutely foolish, then I fully expect Flacco to completely torch them on Thursday night.
I don't think there's any chance the Jets win this game. Cleveland defense is real. And although I will not sit and actively root against them, it would not be helpful at all for them to win this game as that could drop them into the teens in the draft.
The best part of this game is that I don’t have to watch or think about watching the Jets this weekend, I expect a complete embarrassment, 31 to 8 (2 fgs and a safety)
That was an element of surprise with Brissett. Flacco is not gonna throw 300+ on this secondary. He’s been throwing 2-3 INT’s a game so he’s def gonna throw a few. I do expect Moore to catch a TD though. And their defense is going to terrorize Siemian.
A defense that holds itself in as high of regards the Jets hold themselves should NOT be surprised by a backup QB entering the game. And they shouldn't be surprised to the point where the guy leads them on a 20-point comeback to take the lead in the 4th quarter.
Well, since this FO/CS was so talented that Woody decided to extend them another year, it really doesn't matter if the Jets win or lose as no jobs are on the line and the prime draft position is already lost. Not that drafting matters when the person drafting isn't very good at it anyway.
If what we need is to lose, the Jets will win. No doubt about it. Under no circumstances will we ever draft for need even if that need is acute. We do BPA. We drafted the second coming of Lawrence Taylor last year so there's proof of concept. If we need OL, we're draft an edge guy. Basically, we'll be rebuilding well into the latter half of the 2020's. Wouldn't surprise me if Woody extends the current braintrust another 5 years even if they continue losing as he's in luv with the concept of consistency. Too bad that dumbfuck with the necklace doesn't realize you can lose consistently. You'd think the last 13 years might be a lesson.
Correct. The poll should be "Will the Jets score?" Rather than who will win. It's currently 18-0 that the Browns will win.
going to be hilarious (in a not at all funny kind of way) to see old man Flacco come in and throw for about 4 TDs against the Jets while we trot out Siemian (I can't see Wilson getting another game this season unless it's playing someone with a terrible defense to try and increase his trade value to more than a conditional 6th round pick)
I would love to know how many former Jets starting QB's have left to go to another team and beat them as an opponent? Off the top of my head I know of Pennington and Geno Smith. I know there are others. Flacco has a chance to join the list.
I'm seriously the only vote for the Jets right now! Oh ye of little faith! it is the Christmas season and miracles are upon us.
