2023 - Preseason Week 1: Jets @ Panthers

I'll be out on the lake with my family Saturday, so I probably won't get to watch this one in real-time but I've already got it set to record on YouTube TV.

Hoping to see some more out of Becton and Tippman specifically but really the entire OL. Good opportunity for them to go up against a solid DL.

 

do you think we will see any of the starters? even fringe starters sat last game

 

This is basically the first preseason game for all teams and I'd expect the Jets to treat it as such. No starters.

 

I'm more interested to see who Carolina plays at QB. They drafted Bryce Young 1st overall. At some point they have to put him on the field to see how he plays. They also drafted Matt Carroll in the 3rd round last year. They have to see what they have in him as well. Hope it's not 3 quarters of Andy Dalton.

 

Let us hope and pray that the forthcoming announcement includes pants of some hue.

I hope the rooks get some good experience and we come away healthy.

 

The Panthers have 87 total yards right now and probably that many in penalties.

Their net must be practically zero.

 

Becton played a lot more snaps today.

 

I thought the game was tonight so I missed it all but the defense really could be special this year. And we did this without Reed and Sauce. This line keeps Rodgers on his feet and they could be a legit threat for the division
