This week is interesting, there are several prominent injuries to muck things up. Broncos @ Chiefs on Thursday night. This game will probably be an ass whooping, but you never know. Chiefs haven't really looked like champions yet. A viable option for survival if you haven't picked Chiefs yet. It could be their weakest opponent of the year. The one downside is that it is a divisional game, but it's on a short week on the road for Denver. Giants @ Bills on Sunday night. Another prime time game for the Giants to get slaughtered in. The Bills did lose a few guys to injury, but Saquon Barkley, JMS and Andrew Thomas are questionable. Unless all three make a miraculous recovery, Daniel Jones (or Tyrod Taylor) is going to be running for his life all game. Another great option in survival. Panthers @ Dolphins Sunday at 1:00. While the Panthers strike me as a "you never know" team and Miami lost Achane to injury, this is still a game that Miami should kick ass in. Another good survival pick. Almost every other game this week can go either way. Vikings lost Jefferson to IR, so I have a feeling the Bears will upset them. I also lean to the Eagles winning, but you never know.
Damnit, this should be week 6. If mods could rename, that would be awesome. Sorry, @dawinner127, didn't mean to steal your thunder, just had some free time and wanted to discuss before Thursday
I would say the odds of getting help from the Panthers and Giants are slim and none. We can probably rule out slim.
Yeah, it looks like Jones might not even be playing now, which is probably better for him considering their oline is like the Jets oline last year, and he probably doesn't want to die. Kelce is also questionable for the Chiefs game, but I think he'll play.
Looking at the schedule as a whole, there are not really any games that stand out as must watches (outside of the Jets of course!) IMO. A lot of out of conference match ups too.
I don’t expect a blowout on Thursday. They lost by 6 points and 3 points last year. And then 13 points and 3 points the year before. Divisional games are always closer. The other two should be slaughters though.
I would be surprised if the Bills, fresh off getting their butts kicked in London, flew back, wasted a couple days and blew out the Giants I think that game will be close
