Gmen @ SF No barkley and no andrew thomas for the giants. SF looks like a team on a mission and it is their home opener. Not really sure how the Giants compete in this one.
In my company's office pool, I took the Niners giving 10.5. I don't see any way the Giants keep this close.
Niners have a seventh round pick throwing to a 7th rounder for a touchdown. Meanwhile, we're sitting our first round 15th overall pick ... go jets.
I meant it in that sense. It’s irritating because I wish we could emulate it and we had a coordinator here from that system.
88 yards of total offense for the jints. But on a positive note, Dimes hasn't been picked off and he hasn't fumbled. So there's that.
He looks like a Meatball that falls off your dinner plate, rolls on the ground a bit and collects dirt and pet hair you've neglected to clean up over the last few days.
For the second time in three weeks this season, Purdy has had a statistically better game than Zach has had in his career (even though he wasn't as good tonight as the statistics would indicate).
310 yards 2td/0int. is pretty nice stats... That td toss to Deebo was sweet. Purdy is 8-0 as a starter... pretty good for a "system" QB...
The mid-priced QB seems to have disappeared - everyone is either $35M and up or $15M and down. Call it the Kirk Cousins effect - his two franchise tag years allowed him to jump in 2015-2016-2017-2018 from $2.5M to $50M+, and it totally screwed up both the numbers and perception of QBs around the league. For the vast majority of teams, it means that you can either wander around in mediocre-land, or keep hoping to hit a lottery that rarely hits.
