2023 NFL Week 10 - Around the League

Why would any franchise, least of all the second oldest in the NFL, with one of the classiest, most iconic uniforms ever, trot out alternates that make them look like a weird hybrid of the Browns and Bengals?

 

Bears/panthers… what a treat.

 

Feels like a preseason game. From what I've seen Bryce Young looks awful.

But then next Thursday it's Bengals-Ravens. From possibly the two worst teams in the NFL to possibly the two best right now.

 

Didnt even consider watching

Was considering going to the 9ers - JAGS game on sunday (havent been to a live football game in quite awhile) but "cheap" seats up top are going for around 100... not spending that for a team I dont really care about.

 

In all fairness, look at the shit the oldest franchise in the NFL wears.

 

I'm envious of the Bears rookie UDFA QB... This is sad

 

He's bad but I swear his field vision is better than Zach's.

He’s awful. Too short, very small frame and a subpar NFL arm. He was a magician in the pocket in college but the skill set just doesn’t translate to the NFL because he’s simply not that quick or fast.

I was shocked when Carolina traded the farm to get him. I don’t see any success for him in the NFL to be honest.

 

Me too, especially AFTER trading for Sam. I thought for sure they were trading to get Stroud.

 

I'm so with you on this. I think their standard unis are maybe top 5 in all of sports.

 

I didn't watch the game, but was is the color rush or color crush or whatever that crap was called? I'm pretty much a traditionalist when it comes to old school uniforms, but if it was a THROWBACK throwback, some of those are laughable. The Steelers look like bumblebees wearing prison garb at the same time.

Speaking of that color rush garbage, how funny was that that when the Bills played the Jets the players and the fans who were color blind didn't know what to do or who to root for? Hahaha.

It was their standard helmet and jersey colorized orange.



I don’t mind some experimentation or variation, especially if it’s designed well or the defaults are nothing special. But these are such an obvious downgrade. Just, why. To sell more jerseys I guess.

 

The Bears orange alts looked so much better with the navy helmets and socks.

Well yeah but they've got to sell merch so there's no getting rid of the alts. But at least pair them with helmets and socks that make them palatable.

 

Minshew Magic vs the Pats. NE settled for 3 on their first drive.

 

Minshew should have been our target when Rodgers went down.
Zero threat to #8, and 1,000% better than Zach…
