Game is on Thursday Night at 8:00 PM on NBC After months of excitement, new season is almost upon us. Training Camp is at full speed and we are heading to Canton to take on the Browns in Hall of Fame Game. Technically this is a Week 0 Preseason Game. Zach will be the starter and per Saleh, none of the starters will see time.
The only thing that matters is no injuries. I could care less if the Jets lose every preseason game 35-0. Just be ready for the Bills. The starters aren't playing anyway.
Wait until week 1. I already took off work for Mon/Tues. Going to get their early. There won't be many empty seats this year. The first game with Rodgers against Allen and the Bills. The atmosphere is going to be insane. I don't think there will be too many Bills fans at this one. Weekday game (Monday) and Jets fans probably won't sell their tickets for this one.
Anybody get the feeling AR will be paying really close attention to how the 2's play on the OL. I know its day one, but the way the Jet OL seems to get decimated annually, some if not all of those guys just might find themselves protecting AR before the season is over. I'll be watching Becton and Zach as both of those guys are the biggest question marks in camp as of now.
I agree with both of these. It's precisely because expectations are so much higher than they've been in more than 10 years that players like Becton, Wilson, and Ruckert are so important - it's not a matter of sneaking into the playoffs, (hopefully) it's a matter of home field advantage in playoff games, and effective rotation players and backups can make all the difference there (it would be great if Becton was more than that, but imo not a realistic hope at this point). And of course with Wilson it's about 2025 as well.
Originally had intentions to make it to this one (mostly as a parlay with the HOF inductions) with my brother, but alas, its not happenning..... oh well
Thanks Brooks. As I understand it, None of the starters already selected will start , but still a few battles at OT, LB, S and even RB among others for starting roles or first back up are open and they will play.
I'm definitely interested in seeing Becton and Wilson play as well as Ruckert and Brownlee. I'm fucking pumped for football!

I got my #4 jersey ready. Cant wait Hope to see a good outing by Zach and Becton. Also cant wait to see the rookies.
