Sometime after 4:00 on Sunday afternoon...1-3. Hope I am wrong about that.
Jets kick 7 FGs
and I’m sure it will continue into the Robert Saleh days…
At least they moved the ball!
I'm still goin with the Jets. The Steelers are the easiest team of the last 4. If they lose badly this week I probably wont pick the Jets again this year. But we have some young players, its early in the season, and things could start to gel sometime soon. Especially if Zach starts playing well.
Okay guys. I am changing my vote again. No idea why I am picking us to win against Mike Tomlin’s well coached team but I think we will win on the road again. Godspeed Jets!
And.... the line in Vegas instantly moves 4 points.
I'm going with a Steeler win BUT, a decent showing by Zach who will survive all 4 qtrs in one piece.
Saleh confirmed Wilson is due to start assuming all goes well in practice - finally!
I feel like a lot of Zach's success on Sunday will come from how MLF schemes.
Steelers are allowing 143 rushing yards a game. We gotta keep pounding the rock, even if we fall behind in the first half. This will help Zach and hopefully we establish a running game that keeps the pass rush honest. Can we please not bail on the running game if we get down 7 points in the 2nd quarter? Also, quick passes. Don't string Zach out behind a shaky o-line expecting them to hold up for long developing routes. If we establish the run first, we can pick our moments.
The Steelers are going to be pass rush happy. Can we please perfect the screen play. That is so effective in slowing down the rush but we never seem to call it. Probably why we are so bad defending it being the defense never sees it in practice.
Just can't see Zach in his first game being successful with Tomlin exploiting our weak offensive line. 23-6 Steelers.
Vegas has over under on odds Wilson getting re injured (just kidding guys)...God that's a bad thought ...but why do the Jets put our QBs in a position to fail week in and week out??????
Plus, Zachs biggest knock is certainly not the arm or the talent
It's his staying on the Field history
If the kid toughs this game out ...even with a loss ..its speaks volumes and kudos for him
This feels like a winnable game, but this team finds a way to lose these.
Just realized something about the schedule. The Steelers played last Thursday so they have had 10 days to prepare for this game. The Dolphins play tomorrow night and they will get 10 days to prepare for the Jets in week 5.
Said this to my brother the other day. I think we also get Minnesota on extended rest later in the year
How did you figure that
Sorry, my bad. In Pitts, yes
I hope is close, and we play 4 good quarters of football for a change. I don’t want a slow first half. No stupid unnecessary penalties.
I was so close to being able to see the game on CBS again.
*For perspective, the Jets game is the blue zone this week. I live in Louisville (LOU).*
Are you coming over for a game this year or no?
