Booth would be such a luxury. We drafted and signed so many CB over the years. We have enough edge help for now. I think that Dean is gone by pick 3
Booth is elite but we should not have drafted all of them last year and signed DJ. Just not going to happen.
Quincy Williams, Ashytyn Davis, and Sheldon Rankins seem to be the weakest links in the starting unit. You could also make a case for Zach Wilson but giving up on him now seems reckless.
At this point, LB, OL, IDL and Safety are much needed target points. JD will go down his ranking list and select the BPA at 38 and 101 with an eye on those categories.
Rainman seems to be the highest rated OT and not much around him in round 2 I hope there is a rush for QB at the start and we have a choice of Raimann, Hall, and Dean
Hoping someone wants to come up for a QB. Moving back about ten spots should get a extra fourth and fifth or fourth and 2023 4th. Moving 15 would get a extra third.
i leave it to the experts here, but it seems to me the 2nd round pick could very well be up for trade to teams looking for a either a QB or edge or even WR. Especially if Nakobe Dean is off the board early. If not, names to consider for a Jet's pick are, in addition to Dean B. Rainmann OL B. Hall RB Walker III RB L. Hall IDL J. Brisker S J Pitre S i would not put a pass to a trade down at all. JD is know to want to recoup his picks if his guy is not there. Thoughts?
Dean and Rainmann will both be gone. I see a trade down but would love to draft Hall...he's going to be elite and will take a lot of pressure off ZW
I wouldn't mind Max Mitchell or Kellen Diesch as OT's with the potential to be starters in the future but can come in and play if needed also.
On NFL Network this morning, they said the reason Nakobe Dean fell this far is because he has dealt with a lot of "soft tissue" injuries over his college career, so there is concern among a lot of teams.
