I wonder if the Jets took the wrong call, from SF, while they were on the clock? There's only so much you can do even with multiple lines and if Douglas was talking to SF about Deebo that might explain how the two trade downs happened right behind the Jets pick.

I like Dotson a lot but the Jets have 3 small WR's under contract now (well when Wilson signs his deal) and Dotson wasn't going to fit particularly well as number 4.

That's an incredible trade for the Eagles. Would any of us have been disappointed if we traded 10 straight up for AJ Brown?

Wow AJ Brown and a third rounder for pick 18. They only gave up 760 trade vakue points or the equivalent of pick 23 for Brown.
The AJ Brown trade just goes to show giving up a boat load of picks for Deebo was BS. JD clings to picks like gorilla glue
Brown is a good player but his numbers have trended down slightly over his first 3 years and his contract will be through the roof. I would not be surprised if the Jets have a better #1 WR in 2023 than Brown is that year.
