No vaccine available? That's total horseshit.

One could just as easily argue that price controls would make big firms less likely to invest because they won't be able to make as much profit from innovation. Which is why you have to look at real-world empirics, which show very clearly that price controls don't work.

Inflation affects a lot more people than unemployment does, not sure if the Biden administration has realized this yet and what it means for the midterm elections.

Biden had received 2 Covid shots before he took office. How can they say there was no vaccine available??

If you believe hard enough, it will be true!
It’s not like someone is trying to take credit for an increase economy, right after the the whole country was shut down.

Well then those firms would die and those that do become technologically advanced would absorb them and be able to withstand the pressure of price controls. There is real world empirical evidence that shows price controls work especially with expansionist powers that have the ability to take advantage of raw materials both internally and foreign as well as those that can in essence internally colonise. The USA meets both these conditions. Also the pressure of price controls will force independent small businessmen to either join larger firms, create cartels, or close. All three of these benefit the larger firms in that it enhances their economic/political power or will provide new sources of labor.

Every company he touches has an extraordinary stock run up? He works at a single public company, Tesla. Is TSLA overvalued? Sure, but even if Tesla didn't exist at all Musk would be worth about $100 billion. He's had a 9 figure net worth since the early 2000's when PayPal sold.

Much of Musk's current net worth is from SpaceX, which has already succeeded in reducing the cost of space travel by around 70%. There's a reason they're getting so many government contracts.

His other companies aren't profitable because they're all trying to do insanely advanced things that have never been done before.

Do you think the fact that 80% of US dollars in existence were printed over the last 2 years has anything to do with rising inflation? Perhaps far more to do with it than "greedy" corporations?

If you were running a business and your costs rose significantly due to inflation what would you do to the prices of your goods and services to offset those rising costs?

Stop getting your economic advice from Elizabeth Warren. Government spending is responsible for the vast majority of the price increases we're all seeing.
