Just google societal collapse. You'll get thousands of hits dating from the 16th century (Nostradamus) to today and predicting the collapse to be within any time frame from tomorrow to a few decades in the future. Before we called it societal collapse we called it doomsday and if the internet had existed in any year since civilization began you'd have gotten thousands of hits along the same time frames above. BTW, when civilization began and for many centuries after that civilization actually looked like the textbook example of societal collapse.

It seems that everything I see on Facebook etc , that says we are heading for economic doom, is said by someone heavily tied to crypto.
Meh, I don’t post much there this time of year, mostly because I don’t watch college football, so I have nothing to say about the new guys. I read it a lot though. My knowledge of the game isn’t near what a lot of people in the jets section is either.
He is a Jets fan bickety. Yes he had Jets posts back in the day. But lately his obsession became about crypto currencies and social unrest. I hear you.
"Lately?" Can I suggest an alternative to banning him until August? Just ban him from posting in the BS forum permanently and discussing non-sports topics in any other sub-forum. It's torture to keep a Jets fan from posting about the Jets in the only parts of the year that they are relevant.
