Week starts Thursday night with Rams@Seahawks game. Obviously we will root for Rams for draft purposes but I can't get a read on this game. For office pool, I need to pick the winner right but can't decide. @Jonathan_Vilma @IDFjet @dawinner127 @BrowningNagle @Lon Chaney Please help. Lol.
Bills are severely overrated right now. Interested to see how they do against KC this week to see if we have a real team or not.
I think Seattle is a very very bad football team. Legit carried by Wilson and nothing more and they can't stop anyone. That game vs SF last week as 7-7 before Jimmy G got hurt and if not for a short field to make it 21-7, SF might have a legit shot to win. I don't know how Seattle will stop the Rams from moving the ball. They allow like 150 yards/game on the ground and get outgained by over 100 yards/G. Teams just move the ball at will on them and the Rams O is one of the best in the league. Adams is a legit liability in coverage and does nothing more than blitz as a weak side LB. It's MINDBLOWING to me that they still gave up 2 1's and a 3 for this guy and then PAID HIM. What a bad move man. Should have just let him walk and ate the loss of how bad a trade it was. They have to scheme their entire defense around this guy blitzing on almost every play because he can't do anything else. It's such a disadvantage. I'm sure McVay will figure out a way to get him isolated in coverage on a few plays and try to exploit it. With that being said, it is still a division game on a short week so it's definitely a tough spot for the them. Gun to head I'm laying the 2.5 and taking the Rams [will prob take this later in the vegas thread] just because they are definitely the better team and coming off a bad loss at home to the Cardinals last week and can see them winning by a FG.
Chiefs are overrated as shit right now. They squeaked by Cleveland and could easily be 1-3. They can't stop anyone on the other side of the ball.
Bills aren't overrated at all. You guys are gonna beat the shit out of KC and make me some money along the way.
has the honey badger been playing or is he out? I think they have been good for so long they just figure they will win every game easy. Someone will wake them up before long
Yeah he only missed week 1. They've been awful at drafting since the Mahomes pick. I would say it's on par with how bad we have been over the last 4-5 years. I mean just look at this, who are these guys? They just happen to have the greatest QB on the planet.
I have been wrong a lot this year but I would not pick against Seattle. They are always tough at home and under Carroll they are great under the lights. 33-8 in primetime night games. On the other side you have Stafford who is the opposite, poor record against good teams, poor record in night primetime games, granted with Detroit, but still Rams are the better team though for sure, so its not an easy pick. Usually when I bet I always bet with the trend, I don't pick the guy who is "due." It doesnt always work out but it seems to be the right call more than not. The trend is that Seattle is great at home under the lights and Stafford is "due" to beat a good team on the road.
Adams on this Defense would be killing it rn but let's see how the draft picks pan out in a few years...anything can happen....we're the JETS.
Is Desean Jackson one of the greatest deep threat receivers? Holy shit, this guy just finds ways his whole career...
I don't disagree. I just wanted no part of the money he was going to demand and most of all, his bullshit attitude
