Field is set. Biden vs Trump.

I might add a poll asking who you think will win but let's keep that poll for summer.

The match-up we knew would happen. Similar to watching the NBA season those years where you knew it would be Warriors-Cavaliers at the end, so why watch the season? Well, we are at the Finals. The DNC is completely behind Biden and has been since Day 1. I am sure Barack Obama and Michelle Obama will campaign strongly for him, so it will be more like the Obama Administration vs. the Trump Administration.

People like Joe Biden more than they liked Hillary Clinton, but I am not sure how much more. Trump's support seems strong, despite how he has handled so many things, including coronavirus.

It's a toss up right now, but I still think a slight edge for Trump just due to his loyal base.

Hopefully this election will be the turning point where the political parties work hard to groom good candidates years in advance.

I think 2024 might see the first woman vs. woman race. Next up:

Gretchen Whitmer (D) vs. Nikki Haley (R)

Morbidly obese grifter vs has been politician with mild dementia. Make America wear adult diapers again.

In fairness to Biden, Reagan had full blown dementia in his second term and was completely out of it and was miles better than Trump.

Almost makes me want to vote for him...

The only proven way to reduce your chance of dying from Covid-19 is to eat right and exercise to maintain maximum heart and lung capacity. If body shaming works sure.

The thought of watching these two in a debate makes me cringe.

I think I'd much prefer Hunter vs. Don Jr. They could set it up as a tag team match.

    1. We have a party that KNOWS they will lose if more Americans vote. (Even Trump was heard saying this. You can look that up.)
    2. They are doing everything they can do make sure they can suppress vote in any way imaginable.
    3. And we have a huge multitude of orangutans that just cannot see or think (or maybe both.)

Are we fucked? You bet. We are failing our civics education, and we are seeing the result here.

I mean - the reason we have two chambers in the congress is so that every population gets a say in the politics, while not diminishing the voice of each individual state. Is it done like it is supposed to? Just look at Wisconsin. Democrats get more votes, for less seats. Is it right in spirit of why the House was installed? Obviously not. Will the "CONservatives" care about that point? Like when? They always speak of the constitution and the law of the land except they have no fucking idea what they are talking about.

Coronavirus will probably swing this election. If under 100,000 people die, and the economy is almost all the way back by Election Day, Trump will probably win. If more people die, and we're still in a recession, Trump will probably lose. To paraphrase Bill Clinton, "It's the coronavirus economy, stupid."
