With Gase's job hanging in the balance, I expect we find a way to pull this one out. Why wasn't KC on the schedule this week?
The Broncos lost by 18 today. They went to their 3rd QB. They have 3 days to prepare for this game and travel across the country to do that. They are 2.5 point favorites. Enough said.........
Fingers crossed another L - last thing we need is them being able to claim that there is something to build on
Definitely time to start rooting for the other bottom-feeders of the league. We want the #1 pick, but we also do NOT want to go winless. Or at least I don't. 0-16 is a brutal scar that never goes away.
How can we come up with a gameplan to neutralize the NFLs best player, Jerry Jeudy? I'm sorry to say that Denver look worse than we do. This game could be won by repeatedly kicking FGs when in range to minimize turnovers. Jets 16-13
I see the Jets winning this game. Then I see Chris Johnson tripping over himself running up to any media outlet he can find to hand out "told you so's". F'n loser
I don’t think this game matters. I think it’s over Friday morning win lose or draw and I can see a 0-0 draw
Yesterday was the perfect loss for the "Fire Gase" crowd. If they played a close game against the Colts and beat the Broncos, Gase was staying. Yesterday did nothing but confirm that Gase is not the right coach for this team. Scheming aside, Gase has no idea how to coach up young players in this league. He was supposed to coach Sam up to his potential, and all we have to show for it is a QB who has done nothing but regress. Sam Darnold's regression is more of an indictment on Adam Gase than anything else his offense has done (or failed to do).
I don't know. This game on Thursday night should hold no weight on the future of Gase, but I have no faith in CJ and ownership that they will can him with a win.
It will be close but our D has been awful. If they can establish the run with Gordon and utilize Jeudy and Fant, they will put up some points. it all comes down to our o. With becton hurt and Hogan hurt, we may be in real trouble. I expect Denver to win by 3-7
Realistically, Denver can score on this Jets Defense even with a 4th string QB. So I would say 27-10 Denver is the most realistic.
27-3 This shitstain isn't going to score a touchdown if Becton is out. Expect several Samchez turnovers as well.
I couldn't agree more. If you looked at the players yesterday, esp. Sam, they are dead men walking. No life, no energy, if they make a mistake, you do not see any emotion at all... its surreal. I watch Allen get pissed and then go out and lead his team to a win and was fist pumping, etc. The only thing Adam Gase has created is a "losing" mentality that negatively affects the players. You see it in their demeanor and after game comments... nothing. unfortunately, this is a repeat of Miami and I still remember posters from the fish on another site saying you'll be sorry. BTW - I do not expect the to win given their history of losing to winless teams and this HC ability to coach - period. .
I agree with you 100%, but because of the way the schedule fell, he has one more shot to "impress" Thursday and I think CJ is stupid enough to bite the bait again. (Obviously to anyone with a set of working eyes you should know Thursdays game should mean nothing in regards to keeping or firing Gase)
