Deep WR draft and we take none... Harmon, Hall both fell to us. Other guys like Stanley Morgan jr, terry Godwin and a lot others.... Damn damn damn maybe we get one in UDFA but probably could have gotten Blessaun Austin UDFA due to his massive injury concern
The Premier League hasn't sold its soul the way the NFL has. We haven't even seen a single commercial break shoehorned in during the actual game The NFL has ad breaks before and after touchbacks. Loooooong ad breaks.
This corner we just spent a draft pick on... Has played in just five games over last two years Had season-ending surgery on same knee in back-to-back years
its weird - every year I really look forward to the draft and get excited about it and every year I come away disappointed and thinking I honestly could have done a better job and I know next to nothing
My concern is that Mac didn't grab a center. Maybe the plan is to get a UDFA or trade for one? Or move Winters? Not sure. Hope something emerges soon. Because right now, the Knicks not only have more centers on their roster. The Knicks have better centers than the Jets. (Maybe they can trade for Luke Kornet?)
Thanks, you also, it could hardly have gone worse since I noticed the draft had started earlier and decided to watch it, next year think I will just tune into the welcome to the Jets threads as they arrive lol
I hope Macc has his phone at the ready, with a long list of numbers for players not yet selected so that he can start making calls to all the UDFA'a out there as soon as Round 7 finishes
so annoying they didn't manage to snag Paradis in the FA - there doesn't really look to be anyone left - Stefen Wisniewski looks to be about it
It's worse, this is a worse version of the ridiculous Dexter McDougle pick. It clearly shows Mac and his scouts have no clue. There were so many better draftable players. No one was drafting a guy with 2 ACL tears on the same leg in back to back years. This guy really is a dummy
Mac continues to pass on better prospects for questionable picks. Depressing. Pats and Skins among others having great drafts.
MacCagnan takes the day off after Day 1 as usual. You can defend the Polite pick. Aside from that, WTF?
I would kindly thank Macc for his service of landing us Jamal, Sam & Bell. I would then tell him he has been relieved of his duties. Obviously I hope he pans out, but taking a pick like Blessuan is a fireable offense.
I don't think he would be our C. Harrison is probably better at C, and Jordan has said that he doesn't want to play C in the NFL.
To me it’s not so much that they didn’t take a WR it’s that they feel they have a strong WR group on the roster. If you make a poor assessment of your roster talent you make poor draft choices for need. I’m not a Crowder fan, I just hope they use him right. They do need WR depth too, not much positive beyond crowder, Enunwa and Anderson. What’s more glaring is Mac not learning from his mistakes. How do you draft a CB that’s hasn’t played in 2 years, had a showing poor pre draft when he made the same mistake recently with McDougle? This guy wasn’t getting drafted by any other team. Mac’s stupid draft position trades, not learning from past mistakes all lead me to point in a new direction.Anyone can spend money in FA, anyone can Make draft choices that fall to you. He’s failed miserably in day 2 and 3 of the draft consistently. It’s time to move on
