The consensus is that this years QB class is weak and filled with boom or bust prospects. That theory is true. However, there is 2 sides in defining boom or bust. I am starting to believe this draft could be the one of the best in years because there are 6 kids that all have a chance.

With this thread I'm looking at the boom side to these prospects.

    Here's my rank and comparison:

1- DeShone Kizer - So many people are writing this kid off but I think he's the total package. Kizer I think will be the best QB in this draft because he brings a strong arm, athletic ability, played in a pro offence, size, speed and clean off the field.
    Comparison- Cam Newton

2- Pat Mahomes- He is the definition of boom or bust. Great arm and a true gunslinger. He could be Brett Favre or playing in the CFL in 3 years... If he can go to a team and develop for 2-3 years and learn how to play in the pocket he could be something special.
    Comparison- Brett Favre

3- DeShaun Watson - This guy is by far the best gamer in the draft. He is just great under pressure and gets it done with a combination leadership, skill and athletic abilities.
    Comparison- Russell Wilson

4- Mitchell Trubisky- A 1 year wonder with great tape. He has impressive deep ball accuracy, stands tall in the pocket and can roll out and make plays if he has to.
    Comparison- Warren Moon

5- Brad Kaaya- He has a great work ethic and thrives when he's in command of the offence. He has good accuracy on his short and intermediate throws and moves through progressions at a high level.
    Comparison- Jeff Garcia

6- Davis Webb- He has all the intangible attributes you want in a Pro QB. Solid arm with a good mix of size and pocket presence.
    Comparison- Carson Palmer
