Inspired by the Harvard study that was just posted in the NFL section, I thought it'd be cool to get some of your predictions for this season, as well as share my own. The season's only a little over a month away!

    Let's hear:
    - Your 6 playoff teams in each conference
    - Super Bowl winner/loser
    - Jets record
    - Awards: MVP, OPOY, DPOY, OROY, DROY

    NFC:

    1). Packers (13-3)
    2). Seahawks (13-3)
    3). Cowboys (11-5)
    4). Falcons (9-7)
    5). Vikings (10-6)
    6). Rams (10-6)

    AFC:

    1). Colts (13-3)
    2). Broncos (12-4)
    3). Patriots (11-5)
    4). Steelers (11-5)
    5). Dolphins (10-6)
    6). Ravens (10-6)

Super Bowl: Packers over Colts in a matchup of the NFL's 2 best quarterbacks.

Jets: 9-7, miss the 6th seed by 1 game. They play well against the soft parts of their schedule (Cleveland, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Oakland, Washington) but fail to rack up enough wins against good teams to get into January.

MVP: Andrew Luck. This should be the year he rightfully plows his way into the 'elite' class.
OPOY: Antonio Brown. Another 100+ catch season and he finally gets some hardware for it.
DPOY: It's just so hard to pick anyone but J.J. Watt after what he just did to the league last season.
OROY: Melvin Gordon, the only rookie back to break 1000 yards.
DROY: Vic Beasley's 12+ sacks revitalizes a horrible Falcons pass rush.

I definitely think that Leo is going to be the better player, especially in the long run. However, Beasley will have a greater immediate impact. He's coming into a pass rushing group that was arguably (undoubtedly?) the worst group in the NFL last year, while Williams will be relegated to the 2nd team once Richardson comes back. Throw that in with the fact that it's much easier to throw up sexy stats as an OLB than as a 3-4 defensive end and I think Beasley will be the front runner for the award.

I'll start off by saying this: I don't think the Patriots have any shot at repeating and I think they'll have a hard time beating a healthy Ravens team, Denver if Manning is healthy come playoff time, and now that they've lost one of the best corners in football, along with a competent corner in Browner, the Colts match up much better against them. They might make the AFC Championship game, if they manage to secure a bye, but I'm not seeing an elite team in New England this season.

    NFC

    Packers (12-4)
Seahawks (12-4)- (Maxwell to Cary Wiliams is a huge downgrade and their offensive line situation is scary, may win more games, but I'll be shocked if they they make the Superbowl).
    Cowboys (11-5)
    Falcons (9-7)-
    Vikings (10-6)
    Giants (10-6)

    AFC

    Colts (13-3)
    Broncos (12-4)
    Patriots (11-5)
    Ravens (10-6)
    Chargers (10-6)
    Bengals (9-7)

Super Bowl : Packers over Colts

I have the Jets winning eight games; the team will show progress on both sides of the ball and key second year players such as Amaro and Pryor will elevate their games.

    MVP: Andrew Luck
OPOY: Dez Bryant - currently the best WR in the NFL, IMO, who will likely see mire targets due to the departure of Murray
    DPOY : Watt
OROY : Amari Cooper- most polished receiver in the draft in terms of technique; if the Raiders offense is more aggresive season, he'll run away with this.
    DROY: Malcolm Brown

I'm too lazy to do all of the breakdown but the big things are that the Pats will win the AFCE, we won't make the playoffs and I think the Packers win the Super Bowl.

Not because I am a Jets homer but I feel like Jets will be the pleasant surprise of the year this year. Also this year, Pats will NOT win the AFC East.

A 4-12 football team with a new FO, HC, OC, DC and the worst QB situation in the NFL is going to win 11 games and the AFCE?

    Good luck with that prediction.

Yeah dont mention the FA and draft additions or anything. And most fans (not me) thought Rex was a huge problem. So shouldnt anyone be an upgrade over him?

Every year a team goes from really bad to really good. If Geno plays even average we have a good shot at the playoffs. Factor in the schedule looks way easier this year than it did last year so Im fairly confident.

How about you make a prediction on us? Another 4-12 season in your mind?

    Jets have improved.

    6-8 wins in 2015.

So then you bringing up last years 4-12 with a totally different supporing cast of coaches and players is pretty much pointless then.
