Tough break for Cleveland - Hoyer looks like he could be a real NFL quarterback, and Weeden is so bad.
No intention to criticize, it surprises me also how aggressively Manuel seems to be warming up on the sideline. What's more surprising is that all of a sudden Weeden doesn't look so bad out there.
Weeden has a real gift for not getting rid of the ball when his line is giving him 5-10 seconds worth of protection.
A couple of big passes for first down for Cleveland. Another two or three first downs and the game could be over.
Tuel with the pick 6 that will end it. Five drives, 4 punts and a touchdown for the wrong team. Bills will be calling Freeman's agent tomorrow, I expect. I think we can pretty much stop talking about Cleveland tanking at this point.
Even if Manuel comes back, we should be putting in a waiver claim on Freeman. We lost the game because of the loser we have at backup QB. We couldn't complete a pass. That's inexcusable as an organization to have a guy like that as your backup. He looked like a high school QB. You can't trot that guy out there the next time Manuel gets hurt. The decision to not have a decent QB just cost us a winnable game. Let's not turn that into 3 or 4.
