Yeah, the 40 is pretty much huge for any WR now. I like Patterson the best out of the group though right now. Not sure if it had to do with playing in an open system, but I love his downfield play ability, and is very good after the catch in the few times I saw his game.
I was debating it, I went over the first picks for anemic offense and figured it was going to start a run on WR since people went for the trenches first. I think there are a couple that have higher upside to be honest. But, it's a win now team and I didn't want to take a risk on busting with a team that is so close. On pure upside, the No. 1 guy on my board is still here, but the risk worries me too much to make the move right now. I figure Hopkins is a good option, knows how to work with a QB that can run as well (adjusting routes, etc) and the bust factor is less with him. But there is a high upside guy that I would LOVE if he fell. I did debate skipping on WR and waiting for one of those guys to drop, but if they didn't, I was screwed in this draft.
I will be available tomorrow, please forward your boards to me tonight. No missed picks, being at school or work isn't an excuse
Just checking in again. Now that I'm east of Cleveland it looks like smooth sailing back to erie. I'm still not up yet though and will be around for my pick. My kids live in Marblehead. It's a hell of a drive to make their games but worth it!
Anyone know who NE's GM is? GM Assignments say "New England Patriots- New England Patriots". Wanna PM whoever if i pick.
He left so I am not sure what to do...his time might be up very soon. I just wanna get my pick in and that's that. EDIT: His time is up...do we give him more time to get his pick in?
