You're silly if you don't think Miami is the favorite to win this. Soxx make your prediction before 3 PM today and don't change it. Then we will take your predictions seriously

Knicks kick off the playoffs at 3PM today followed by CHI/BK, DEN/GS, and then GS/LAC.

Playoff basketball, where the 1st round takes forever!

Knicks down 3 after 1. They are driving, just not dropping the buckets when close to the rim.

    Haven't taken many 3s actually.

Bradley has 2 fouls. Smith has 2 fouls. Chandler has a tech. Nobody else in foul trouble after 1.

Really, Green hits a fadeaway shot clock beating 3. Got lucky

Lee injured, he'll probably miss Game 2 (and maybe more).

ESPN reported Noah would not start.

    Naturally, they were wrong.

Wasn't able to post, but man that GS/DEN game was fun. Curry tied it with 15 seconds left but then Andre Miller who was on fire hit the game winning layup with 1.4 seconds left. Fun fun fun game

Nets have a dominant first half vs. the Bulls.

    60-35.

Can the Clippers make it a home sweep for Day 1?

Gotta say I didn't expect the Clippers to take it by that much.

On to today, Sunday: I'll sleep in a little, check out the Lakers and Spurs, w/ a little $ on LA for the series, just a hunch. The Spurs are boring to me, and it's my only upset of the first round I predicted.

Then my home state team can get beat down badly.

Then 8:30, Thunder Rockets WOO, I'm excited, but it's bittersweet.

I picked an NBA bracket on another forum and I didn't pick any upsets.

I thought the Spurs were vulnerable, but I don't give the Lakers any sort of real chance without Kobe. Same for the Nuggets with no Galinari. Definitely not the Warriors, regardless of whether Lee is ok to go.

So I just had a rematch of last year's Western Conference Finals with the same result, and the same result in the NBA Finals.

Clippers/Grizzlies is the most even of the series, IMO, but home court should give LA the edge, so I took them.

Lee out for the postseason. I'm not surprised because the injury looked pretty severe.

Tom Menino interrupting the Lakers game. He's not saying anything important though. Just stammering through a prepared statement.

    Atlanta/IND was fun surprisingly enough.

Lakers hanging around, Spurs not playing well to allow them to stay alive

Mike Breen giving out bad information.

He claims the Lakers needed to beat Houston to make the playoffs. That is false. The Lakers had already clinched. That game was only for seeding.

He was talking about how Gasol came up big in a "must win game".

ESPN/ABC making the same mistake that they do with college ball. They don't understand the bonus.
