UPDATE All GMs were contacted via PM. Rules are posted in this sticky section...review when you get an opportunity. We only have 2 more GM positions available to some Vet GMs that I haven't heard from, waiting on their response. Kurt won't be part of our draft in Jan, some issues out of his control. Should be back for the March/April 7 Rounder. I haven't heard from Jabba, I believe he's taken a hiatus from the messageboard world for a while, so he probably won't be joining us. Some newbies joining us: MagillaGuerilla & Harpua all have been regular participants in our draft forum. Congrats!! Someone asked "why are you setting up the draft so early". To give all the GMs time to research their teams and needs. I'm not taking any other newbies at this time, but willing to put them on a waitlist. Any comments or questions...please leave them here.
The draft has unofficially started, no clock till 9:00 A.M. Sat (tomorrow). Mr E (Carolina) can pick anytime. Discussions Only this Thread ......................................................................
I had to take my boy AJ Green. He's one of the best prospects of the decade. I believe in Jimmy Clausen. It looks like the Panthers' front office does too. They're trying to bring in a veteran to start now, so Clausen will be ready in the future.
If they bring in someone like Carson Palmer, Matt Hasselbeck, or Marc Bulger they might get four or five wins. The franchise is a mess. AJ Green is my highest rated prospect - BPA all day, every day.
I think that's the right move, take the best player. But do you think new HC Ron Rivera will pass up one of those D players (whom I will not name!).
Rivera says that he's going to stick with the 4-3, but he's a 3-4 guy. I think there's a damn good chance he'll go after a defensive tackle that can play in both schemes. The best thing about these mocks is that they can go in any direction.
In the past new coaches tend to spend their first picks on the opposite of their "specialty" Of course talent is talent, so it still plays a role. That was perhaps the most epic AJ green picture I have seen
Denver didn't have much of a pass rush up the middle last season.....they will next season, with Fairley in the fold.
You like that, huh? I was searching for images on Google and found it on some potential pedophile's Myspace page. (All UGA fans are potential pedophiles)
