I wonder who Jabba is going to pick for the Jags, Theres one obvious pick and theres one shocker pick as far as I see it.
Up there ya go, he went with my obvious choice and not my shocker pick. Woulda liked both either way. Nice Job Jabba.
Odom's production dropped last year because of injuries, but he has shown that he can get to the quarterback. If he heals from his injury, an Odom-Dunlap book-ended line has potential. Geathers was actually crap, but fortunately for the Bungles, Geno Atkins showed a lot of promise rushing the passer from the interior. They have potential at almost every position on the line. Under the (seemingly) inevitable circumstances that the Bengals lose both T.O. and Ochocinco, it becomes difficult to pass on Green, considering that how they do have potential on the line. Caldwell is utter, utter trash, Gresham needs to get better and they better pray that Simpson is a Miles Austin-esque gem in the rough. If they pick Bowers, then Palmer will retire, because his issues with their offense will not be remedied--even after firing Bratowski. That defense better become unreal, because their offense would be horrendously incompetent. It makes the most sense for the Bengals to do whatever they can to convince Carson not to retire. Plus, A.J. Green's skills are off the charts. Even after Julio Jones destroyed the combine with a broken foot, Mayock is saying that Green is clearly the #1 receiver. That's saying something.
Thanks Johnny, if you're still here please tell us when the other guy you had in mind is picked, now you have me curious.
As much as I like Cam Jordan, the Jags would have to be sure he'd be able to slot in as a true DE to make that pick. They are stacked on the inside with Knighton and Alualu. I think that there's another, similar player that'd be a better fit.
I think that of he and Watt (who just went, so I can talk him up), he's more an under tackle in a 43, while Watt is more an outside player. For the same reason that I'd take Jordan first if I were in a 34, I'd want Watt first if I were in a 43. The Jags really need someone that can get to the quarterback, and I think that Watt would have provided that skill. Jordan just seems to me like a taller version of what they already have in Alualu.
I see what you're saying and it has merit, Watt may be the better fit, but I like Jordan a lot so I would take that chance.
Okay, here comes another that seems out of place, but I think he can play DE or DT in the 4-3 and give the Bucs a really solid front four, so I'll think outside the box and take him with DE in mind Pick will be in shortly
Muhammed Wilkerson to the Bucs makes absolutely no sense. They need pass rushers. I gladly selected Justin Houston after that pick was made.
It was Brandon Harris, GH just picked em. Jags have a HORRIBLE passing defense and a CB like Harris would be great for them.
