What's the address of the draft ?

I'll volunteer to be a last minute replacement if some GM can't make it.

Also have you thought about doing a speed draft for the first round? Have everyone at their computers from 9-10 AM some Saturday and everybody gets like one or two minutes to make their pick. If you know your team and have followed the players available, most people could probably make their selection that quickly.

Just something to consider. It would make the results immediately available and might be fun.

It's an idea!! The problem, it's very difficult to get all GMs on-line at the same time, people have work ,school, etc.

About 3 or 4 years ago, Green Hurricane, Kurt and Myself did a quick mock 3 Round mock on a chat site and completed in about 4 hours.

I think you will be surprised how quickly our GMs will make their picks this Sat, most are very commited to this draft. It won't be rapid fire, but should move along well. Last year, we finished Rd1 in less than 24 hours. It helps when a GM isn't available, they PM's their draftboard.

Look at this draft section you're in now. It's at the top in the Sticky section, can't miss it.

Be around Sat and you can help with missed picks by a GM.

Doing a speed round at 10:00 AM on a Saturday or 7:00 PM during the week might work. That's free time for most people. But you'd need to have at least twice as many people agree to participate to ensure the minimum would show up. So maybe 30 sign up to get 16 guaranteed GM's.

You could also do it like FF where a default pick is given for any GM that doesn't make a selection. Use the consensus pick from 3 or 4 top draft boards like ESPN, USAToday, SI, etc to make the choice. That way a missing GM wouldn't bog down or stop the process.
