hey everyone, this can be a place where you guys talk about who you think can be a good NT for the 34 defense thats available in the draft this year. i'm curious as to who people like, why they like them, and where they are projected to be drafted. any info would be appreciated, thanks

so far, possible names i've heard are jason shirley, frank okam(???), red bryant (?????), frank morton, and i even heard that mayock feels ellis can be a good NT

thoughts on any of this, guys??

Red Bryant has definitely been god at the senior bowl and is a big boy, Shirley is raw, Okam could be a NT, but there are concerns about his motor. Right now it looks as if the best way to go with NT is to sign a stop gap solution in free agency and address OLB (Gholston) and DE with the first two picks. Next year supposedly has a good crop of NT prospects like Terrance Taylor and B.J. Raji

Ahtyba Rubin 6-3 326 Iowa St.

He's been shooting up people draft boards and from what I understand he's projected to go in the 3rd round maybe later, but other than that I don't really know anything about him.

Also if Pat Sims from Auburn could bulk up a bit he would be a great fit but I don't think we will be in a position to take him.

I wouldn't mind picking up a 34 NT in the draft but later like 4th-5th round. None of the prospects right now scream success.
