Don't we have heaps of these in the predictions forum? Lol
I give 9-7. 50% chance of a wildcard. Loss in the first round.

2-8-5 (the Chiefs game will be cancelled because the entire offense will be unavailable after Herm throws them all under the bus.)

Someone was telling me once what a good coach Herm was (I can't remember who their team was, but it wasn't the Jets or Chiefs). My reply was, "Herm is a great coach....as long as he isn't coaching your team".

I know this is off topic, but you have to love the KC Hard Knocks show on HBO -- it's the best show on television right now. Watching Herm spout off, and seeing how he "coaches" is an absolute gas. Dick Curl is possibly the biggest moron I've ever seen within the NFL coaching ranks, and Herm just seems like his intelligence is below average. He seems incapable of making decisions. They show him sitting in his office for hours on end contemplating simple decisions like he's deciding some monumental thing, and usually the answer is obvious. I think the Chiefs are going to completely go from SUCK TO BLOW -- like Mega maid in spaceballs -- this year after watching all the episodes of hard knocks. YEEEEOOOOOWWWW.

How the KC front office allowed HBO to show the whole nation that they have a bunch of dimwitted morons running their team is beyond me.

    i say 10-6.

i think mangold and ferguson will hold down the fort, and the rook will need about 3 games to feel comfortable on how to play, the true test was last year with 2 rookies and one vet in the middle, we passed that test, this will be a test but not of such magnitude, ferguson will have a better season this year, i cant say he will be worse, because he shouldnt, either by next year or the end of this season, he will hold it down like that.

mangold is the center we all knew he would be, so it all falls on pennington's decision making.

jones will have a solid season. our D, good.

I see the Jets going 9-7 this year. I think the defense is still adapting to the 3-4 defense. We need to get a solid NG to help keep Vilma free.

I can't predict because the pre-season gave me no sense of where this team is right now.

I think 10-6 and a hopeful wild card berth! To bad we are not in the NFC and can get in with a 7 win season! lol

    jet predictons

    Either 13-3 or 12-4.
    Chad: 23tds - 11 ints 3674 yards QB rating of 91.8
    T. Jones: 1045 yards 10 td's (running) 1 (rec)
    L. Coles: 83 rec 946 yards 7 td's
    J. Cotchery: 95 rec 1124 yards (10 td's)
I think the defense will do very very well. Will allow about 15 points per game. Will also have about 15 takeaways and about 36-40 sacks. I think with Robertson, Ellis, Coleman, Hicks, Mosely, & Bowens they can be great on third down. Bowens is a third down specialist...that's what he does. And if Darrelle Revis is as great as we all think he can be, that will allow other DB's to come down and assist with the run defense. The Jets CAN be special..the question is will they. I think so.

By the way has anyone else noticed that the Jets are the most ambiguous team in the league as far as "expert" opinions go? Some have them at 10-6 some at 7-9. One "expert" predicted them to finish 3rd in the division. Some power rankings have them 15th or 16th...behind the eagles. Other rankings have them either 8th or 9th in front of the Broncos. Just wierd I think.

Yeah, really. Woodson on NFLN had them as 5th in AFC, and didn't Solomon say 3-13 the other day? I like that about the Jets though.
