I have been reading people saying we should trade down from 4 to get more picks. The only team that really has the 2006 picks to do so is denver and they have a cap problem which makes it unlikely. So I was wondering what about getting picks in next years draft. Does anyone have a feeling about how good the talent is next year? The only guy I am hearing about is Quinn.
Well, I'm no college expert but, right off the bat there seems to be a feeling that this years draft is one of the poorest in years for WR's and next years class is loaded - Draftdaddy.com has a little right up on next years WR's.... a good number of BIG fast wr's.....http://www.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/stories/041706aap.html that's one reason I see that there's no way in hell we should spend ahigh pick on a WR.... Next year we'll easily add one... I get the same feeling with RB... Build the trenches this year - add the icing next.
next years top-10 prospects, IMO: (no particular order) Brady Quinn | QB | Notre Dame Brian Brohm | QB | Louisville Michael Bush | RB | Louisville Adrian Peterson | RB | Oklahoma Jeff Samardzija | WR | Notre Dame Drew Stanton | QB | Michigan St. Joe Thomas | OT | Wisconsin Paul Posluszny | OLB | Penn St. Calvin Johnson | WR | Georgia Tech LaRon Landry | S | L.S.U.
I wouldnt go rb in first 3 this year, we have curtis for atleast this year and probably as a back up for next years rb. I hope we just go rb in next years draft
I would move up for a Brady Quinn We know what he can do. That is the only QB taking a chance with. I would hold on the QB thing and find out a way to get Quinn as QB next year. Just whistling in the wind.... Don't take too serious
