I just saw this ad banner at nfl.com: I wonder if there's any significance to it. Probably not, but it is a bit weird that all the logos shown are the known primary logos--which makes sense for official draft day merchandise--except for the Jets. They are obviously pushing this logo, in any case.
The jpg didn't come up for me. Could be my machine. I did go directly to the link, though. That's not a new hat. I have that one.
they have that logo on the jets site aswell (the hat) pretty sure that logo was used a few years ago on newyorkjets.com
Whoops, sorry guys. So much for 100WebSpace... now you see it now you don't. Thanks for posting it Sundayjack. Anyway, I know the logo's been around a few years, but I'm just thinking it's weird in this context. I mean why not use the Jets' primary logo like the other teams? The other teams have alternate logos too.
Knowing the way the NYJ operate, they will probably put the NY logo on their helmets so we all remember that they are the New York Jets even thought they are going to be in NJ. I honestly thought that if the west side stadium came to be they would change to that logo as well because they would be back in NY.
Yup. That's the logo. And, that's the hat I have, without all that goofy mesh on the back of it. Whoever thought to bring mash hats back was whooped-up on goofballs.
If you look at the negative space (white space) under the NY, you'll notice it resembles an airplane with the cutouts in the N and Y being the wings.
If you look real close on the side of the Y, you can see Chad Pennington's old car driving around the new stadium and Wayne Chrebet is sitting in the back seat with Coles.
Dude, I actually looked again and can see what you're saying.....it took a while......but do you think that was the intention or are we looking too hard?
oh, ok cool. The Fed Ex is a lot less subtle then the Jet though......but its creative none the less.
