For those scoring at home Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Mike Stanton, Denny Neagle, Jason Grimsley, David Justice, Chuck Knoblauch, Jose Canseco and Glenallen Hill- 9 of the 25 active 2000 New York Yankees (36%) have been implicated with using steroids. Zero Mets have been implicated. Major League Baseball should do the right thing and label the 2000 Yankees A-FRAUD team and award the 2000 World Championship to the Mets.
Let the Yankees keep #26. As a Met fan, there's no shame in losing to a team of cheaters and drug abusers. I'm sure those 2000 Yankees can hold their championship high, knowing they did it the same way as Ruth, DiMaggio, Mantle, Munson, Berra, Ford, Rizzuto, and all the other roid freak juice heads of Yankee tradition. I like how this thread was created the day A-Rod was reported to have tested positive for Steroids. That has NOTHING TO DO with the 2000 Yankees. JoeJet was like "A-Rod was on roids. All the Yankees are on roids. I am a Mets fan. Hmm. I should make a thread about how we should really be the champs in 2000 despite being the clearly inferior team."
