The 8th year running for our annual FFB league Draft Party....... and for the 1st time I'm picking higher than 6th (1st overall) . Actually this is the 1st year we didn't pick names out of the hat right before the draft started. 14 team, standard non-ppr league... competitive. Never have had a 2 time champ. I plan on taking Chris Johnson, but's a LONG ways back before I get to pick again at #28 & 29. Between juggling 3 jobs (and reading threads about the NYJ) I haven't had time to even think about it.... draft is tomorrow night, but I have to work 2 jobs today and start EMT school tomorrow before our draft party. Think there will be any gems to target at 28 & 29? I took a brief look last night, and I'm thinking maybe go QB (romo / Brady), then either the best RB or WR with the #2 & #3 picks..... thanks :beer: thanks
i would suggest going with a big time WR if there is one available with the second two picks. You can get good backs later on but once the wr market falls off in the draft it is a steep fall. If you can have a solid core of Johnson with a good QB and WR you won't have any glaring holes to try to fill with a sleeper or something.
