They are always in a 3rd and long each and every drive. They threw the ball once on first down today that I can think of and what happened? Moving the chains. It's so utterly obvious what Shitty is going to call. Each week I think maybe they will open it up a bit more and switch a thing or two. What the fuck am I thinking?

Honestly, I get the feeling like that was Rex's doing. I think he wanted us to run the ball more, and we did. It just didn't work at all.

Pretty much true but if they do get 3rd and short they pull Sanchez and try to be so cute with Brad. I'm sick of Schotty get him outta here!

We almost never tried to run outside. Every single time, a little trap play inside. No creativity. None.

You are an actual running team if you can move the ball. We are not. They need to change things around and maybe pass more often. 64 percent of the time we run on first down. that gives the other team a better then 2/3rds odd of call the right defense, either limiting the play or stopping it and then we are forced to pass on either 2nd or third usually third because they try to get cute on the 2nd down and if there is gain let's stop all momentum from the previous play and then call the semihole and get the players that are in rhythm out of the game.
How anyone can lump sum it to the QB is wrong. The coaches job is to put players in position to make plays and succeed. You can see the defense doing this along with special teams but where is the offense?

Well, there is always a rain cloud over this franchise. It has nothing to do with the weather. The play calling and lack of playmaking (unless in a final drive) is the same, wind, rain, snow or fucking hail. "Derp."

I feel like Rex is handcuffing Schotty. No way an OC can be that stubborn and stupid. Rex wants the ground and pound cus he thinks our D will be the difference. Truth is we turned the ball over so why not take some chances down field.

That wasn't the problem. Yes, our run game was pretty sad, but Sanchez had 27 incompletions and most of the pass play called sucked ass anyway. My question is why were we trying to dink and dunk in the cold & rain, when our offense looked completely dysfunctional?

So basically all his HCs have been handcuffing him all his career, from Mangini to now Rex. Right? Does he look like someone that enjoys bondage or something?

The funny thing is that the Dolphins started lining up in their Nickel package when the Jets were lined up in 2-WR formations. 95% of the people aren't going to notice that during the game, but that's a huge fuck you to the Jets run blocking and coaching unit.

Rex is a stubborn dude, he keeps trying the same thing until it works, he does not make adjustments and that's why we had our asses handed to us the past two weeks.
