I have the Ravens on my sheet this week. Other than that, I'm looking at every game this week from a football pool pov.

Ravens. Bengals are serious wild card threat otherwise

It doesn't really matter, one of them needs to have a worse record than us for us to get in the playoffs. one of them willl get in. Im rooting for the Bengals, I have less faith in the bengals over the remainder of the season to win the games they should win.

You can pencil in the ravens and pittsburgh in the playoffs.

it comes down to the last wildcard. this is a no brainer. you root for the bengals to lose

you also root for the raiders, chargers/anyone behind us or close to us to lose. the worst off the AFC west is, the better.

Cheer for the Ravens. If the Jets and Bengals are both 10-6, the Jets would win the tie breaker. They would not win a tie breaker against the Ravens.

I'm going to root for my leaf blower, alot of yard work to do today. Perhaps the last chance this year as freezing rain is in the forecast for next weekend.

Cheer for the Jets to win out and let the chips fall as they may. But yeah you cheer for the Ravens. :)

    This is a hard one

in one hand we have a bengals who won 6 games against bad teams and now their schedule is full of hard games. But they did put up a good fight against the steelers last week, so i dont really know what to expect from this team.

in the other we have a very inconsistent ravens, beating up the good teams and losing easy games

All that matters is tie-breakers. The Jets lost to the Ravens. End of discussion.

I haven't looked at their remaining schedule, but I still just don't buy the Ravens because of Flacco. So I don't know that they're a lock and they have the tie breaker against us.

That said, as admitted, I'm thinking/posting out of ignorance, so maybe it is that their schedule is a cakewalk and they're a guaranteed wild card. I just don't know and I'm too lazy to look it up.

No, you give the Ravens their playoff spot, and say you can finish better or tied with the Bengals for a playoff spot which is the best plan. If the Jets and Bengals end up tied, the Jets have a better chance of making the playoffs than if they end up tied with the Ravens, where they have no chance.

Sad to say, but this team will not make the playoffs this year......Period...... As a fan of this team for over 45 years, you can just see there is something wrong with the makeup of this team.

Something is just not sound with this team, you could see it all year, even in our wins it just was not smoth. I love Rex, think he is the right coach for this team, but he will have some tough decisions to make at the end of the season.

Rex's loyality to certain players will have to be over come or he will not last as a head coach in the NFL. I think he knows it's all about wining, and making tough choices in order to improve the make up up this team and coaching staff.

It's not the same old Jets thing , yet if some of the glaring hole are not corrected next year...it soon will be...

Again, my prayers for some type of flood went unanswered. There is no God.
