"Again, this list has not been confirmed, but will create some interesting discussion."

There's no way that's the real list. First of all, there aren't enough no name guys on it. If this was really a list of everyone who had failed a drug test in 2003 there would be a lot more lesser known players on it.

Bullshit list, and yeah, devil beat me to my point. It's like someone sat there trying to remember everyone who played in 2003, in order by team.

The flip side, though, is this: Would anyone on that list surprise you?

ETA: I think you're a bit mistaken about there not being enough lesser known names on there. It seems like there's a fair amount of middling players on that list.

I don't know, there are alot of huge names on that list and for only two to come out so far makes it feel fake. I think if there were that many superstars on the list we would have heard sooner.

So it was confirmed on ESPN a half hour ago, but is nowhere on their website or in Google News results. I'll gladly eat my words if I'm wrong, but if fake news stories about Rick Astley dying hit real news sources within an hour, I have a feeling a legit confirmation on this would be somewhere by now.

I have a feeling this is a BS list much like the list that came out before the report was released.

This really just looks like a list of semi-popular and popular players from 2003. It's bullshit.

I don't know, I know who all those guys are. Where are the 5th starter for some NL Central team types? Or the backup middle infielders for the Padres? Or the catcher that was called up to the Expos due to injury to the backup? Guys like that are conspicuously absent from this list.

Also, if it's the catcher Javy Lopez I wouldn't count him as "middling", or Geoff Jenkins or Kris Benson.
