day's not even over yet. still have sunday night baseball between california/anaheim and detroit. Yankees scored 10 runs in beating the Orioles. Braves scored 14, shutting out the D-Backs. San Diego and Houston had a barn-burner, 18-11. Kansas City shut out TEXAS, 10-0 (texas is a team you'd expect to have those runs). Seattle leads Oakland 14-10 in the 8th. Colorado scored 9 in beating LA and St. Louis also scored 9, beating the Brewers. Florida just missed, scoring 8 runs today. Mets might've scored 9 or more, but they played less than 5 innings. A lot of fatigued pitching staffs tonight. Lucky for most teams, Monday is a traditional off day after the 3 game weekend. Seattle doesn't get that luxury. Neither does Oakland.
Another interesting fact on big Z His BA is .293, his opponents BA is .220 And it looks like Bonderman is about to make it an even 10 teams
6-1 in that one in the bottom of the 3rd. another high-scoring affair. izturis just got a hit. it keeps going. bonderman doesn't have his best stuff
12-2 now. not sure how sheffield got to 3rd. he went to 2nd on a balk, but he somehow got to 3rd. then a single scored him
