10 reasons why the patriots will go 9-7 at best

    1. D Branch is holding out, and is not happy with his contract. The cheap Pats won't give the Super Bowl MVP the money he deserves.

    2. Rodney Harrison is getting real old, and coming off a serious injury. He wont be as affective as he has been in the past. All he does is attempt to ?take out? players

    3. Tedy Bruschi is also getting old. Not to mention he is hurt right now.

    4. The offense will depend on rookies Maroney and Chad Jackson for big plays.

    5. The loss of David Givens makes the receiving corps very weak.

    6. Corey Dillon is becoming less and less productive each year and doesn?t fit well in the system.

    7. Willie McGinest is gone, the previous leader of the defense.

    8. Who's gonna make the big kick? The Pats have won countless games by Vinatieri who has now gone to the rival Colts. All the Pats have are Gramatica, and a rookie.

    9. Former D Coordinator Mangini has left for the Jets, forcing the Patriots to have had 3 different DC's in the past 3 years lowering their effectiveness

    10. The secondary is extremely weak with no real shutdown defender. Asante samuel is the best theyve got and he should be a 3rd corner on any other team.

    Awesome!

Your obsession with the Pats continues. And even though we'll suck, we'll still sweep you and continue to be better than the Jets.

Here's to a great football season. :breakdance:

P.S. We will all take you seriously once you fix your avatar. Love or hate the rule, it existed and was called before it was ever used in that game. :)

Asante Samuel is a superb cornerback and would start for probably every team in the league.
