    Just name 1.

Mine is Damone Clark - ILB - LSU.
He went to Dallas 5th round pick # 176. Surefire 2nd rounder who dropped because he's having surgery. Basically be redshirting his rookie NFL season. I had visions of him stepping in at LB during the 2023 season on after CJ Mosley is gone. Perhaps 1 of the 4th rounders at 111 + 117 could have been a trade-down to get more later picks to put us in a position to get him. LB will be a BIG focus after this season & for the 2023 draft.

Kerby Joseph. He was a steal at #94 when the Lions took him. As much as I liked the trade to #26 to get JJ, it was pretty clear that giving up #69 meant giving up on Kerby, which was a shame.

Mine would’ve been Darian Kinnard (IOL/OT- Kentucky). Still can’t believe he fell so far. I would’ve swapped him for the Clemons pick.

I know we had just gone Mitchell right before that but I think Kinnard projects more favorably as an OG at the NFL. We could’ve gotten our future backups at OT and OG.

Brisker. Thought he would have been a perfect fit both today and in the future. Winfrey as well. Perfect fit right now and could eventually take over for JFM inside when we want to get out of that deal.

Nakobe Dean - the heart and soul of one of the best college defenses ever!!

And the punt god ... Matt Araiza.

Was hoping for a DT somewhere in the 4th but missed on Perrion Winfrey by only 3 spots.

For me it was probably one of the OTs at 4

I’m just really down on Becton but I could be wrong

    Nakobe Dean

He was the best linebacker in the draft and he fell through the floor. There's no reason we couldn't have easily wound up with him.

Early in the process I was thinking about Tyler Linderbaum. Adding him to the offensive line would have been perfect. With the way things fell in the off-season, it seemed unlikely come draft time that he was an option for the Jets though.

I liked Kyle Hamilton a lot too. He will be an amazing safety in the NFL. Ironically, both land with the Ravens. They had an amazing draft.

John Metchie went 44th to the Texans. He had a torn ACL and just seemed to drop off the radar. IMO he has the highest upside of any WR in the draft.

I really wanted Ekwonu because I don't believe Becton will ever be the player he was supposed to be. But given that Douglas and Saleh seem to think he will be, I'll defer to their much better knowledge. Still, that miss nags at me.

Aside from that, I really wanted them to get Troy Anderson, LB, from Montana St. That said, using picks that might;ve been used to get him to move up and get our Edge and the top rated RB is a good "consolation prize". By drafting Garret Wilson and Breece Hall (not to mention Ruckert), the Jets have all the ingredients to run a "SF East Offense": Run heavy, with a quick passing game, which opens up shots down field. This should be the most exciting offense I can remember since the Namath days if it all works out.

Shouldn't you have to name who you would have passed on to get that guy you wanted?

I had quite a crush on Calvin Austin but after JD et al did such a phenomenal job with this year’s draft, I’d be a world class, ungrateful moron to complain or nitpick about anything.

Devin Lloyd, thought he would not only give us a LB for the post Mosley era, but provide leadership for the defense.

One of the LB's Llyod or Dean but you have to wonder why the latter dropped through a black hole from a projected top 20 to #83

Not being familiar with the prospects... I wanted a stud linebacker to shore up our porous run defense.

But I'm happy with what we got.
