Does anyone think Jerricho Cotchery will go over 1,000 yards next year?

Also Does anyone think the Jets will have a 1,000 yard rusher,if so, who?

I think that Cotchery will be just under 1,000 again and that we will have a 1,000 yard rusher. I believe that Mangini will find a guy to rely on a little more next year through free agency or the draft and that player will go over 1,000.

I think Cotchery would be over a 1,000 by just a little. I also think we will not have a 1,000 yard rusher, with or without Turner.

    Michael Turner = Derrick Blayock

Can't see giving up a 1st round pick of him

i think cotch can get over 1,000 yards receiving, and i also believe we will acquire a full time starting running back that will go over 1,000 yards for the season

i'd also like to see neon leon get about 50 carries with about 250 + rushing yards and 30+ receptions, as well as houston getting close to 100 carries and a ton of short yardage TDs

I think Coles will actually miss a few games next year due to injury and that will cause Cotchery to get the 1,000.

you are predicting on january 24th that coles will have an injury NEXT season?? what they hell are you talkin about? coles and cotchery will both have 1000 yard seasons. but, i don't see the jets having a 1000 yard rusher without a big addition at running back.

It's just a prediction. I believe his injuries will finally catch up to him.

If we dont add a RB to the roster the answer is no, we will not have a 1000yard rusher. If we can add a legit full time starter at RB I say yes.

Cotchery might become the #1 next year so yes I think he will.

gotta say i agree with Penny 100%, if we add a first round RB or Michael the Burner Turner, they yes we will have an 1000 yrd rusher next year...

Jerricho will surpass 1000 yrds next year but for different reasons, Penny will have a spectacular year

I think Jericho had a good year this year, but I think he's going to BREAK OUT next year. He didn't have many long TD"s this year, but what he showed us in the playoffs vs. NE is going to become something he does on a regular basis next year. He's got a full year starting under his belt now and he is ready to show the NFL what he's all about.

We may not have a 1000 yard back next year if we continue RBBC.

I think we have a 1,000 yard rushing AND receiving candidtae on the roster already- Leon Washington. I am not saying he will do either but he has that ability and while we are searching for a full time back he may be right under our noses.

That will never happen as long as Laveranues Coles is on the team.

Absolutely true. It’s no secret that IV had high hopes for this guy.(Leon) He needs to be given a shot, the o-line will be playing better next year and this will be the time for him to shine. If we start giving up the farm for a potential full time runner then we might just end up with another Barlow. Who can’t find any running space between the tackles because there is none.....Yet!

Leon might get over 1,000 total yards from scrimmage, but he won't get both.

What pisses me off is that Leon Washington was really starting to assert himself in the playoff game on the drive where we threw away that stupid lateral and lost posession. I was just starting to get excited that a rookie was responding in a big moment and giving us a running attack and then that had to happen. How huge it could have been for him and for us. Maybe next year.

Well, Turner is 237 lbs and capable of power running.

However he's just a huge risk to turn into nothing more than a good complementary back. I'd take the Lamont Jordan of 2004 over him every day and twice on Sunday.
