Hopefully we can merge this thread into the NFL forum afterwards but from now until 4:00 I feel this can make for strong AFC East discussion on our main Jets forum. I'm not worried about the 0-1 Miami Dolphins contending for a postseason birth here in 2016 therefore a New England loss is what I'll be rooting for. N.E going 4-0 without Brady would be disheartening to say the least. It's still early but the NFL is a short season. A Miami win would put both the Jets & Dolphins at #1 within the AFC East at 1-1 overall & 1-0 within the division, while a N.E loss today would put the Patriots @ 1-1 overall and 3rd place of the AFC East with a divisional record of 0-1. Actually we'd be in 2nd place due to 1 AFC Conferenc loss while Miami lost to an NFC team but nonetheless it'll be nice to see a Patriots loss. N.E's next 3 games are all at home in Foxboro hosting Miami, Houston & Buffalo. Without Tom Brady & Rob Gronkowski it'll be nice to see N.E 1-2 overall heading into their final game without Brady come week 4 vs. Buffalo (wishful thinking). The jury is still out on Garappolo. He was sound @ Arizona and played an impressive game but N.E should've lost that game if not for a late FG miss by Arizona to lose the game. I'd love to see a N.E loss today. If nothing else giving them an early season divisional loss without Brady.
Martellus Bennett was an excellent addition for the Patriots. Their offense is going to be difficult to matchup against once Brady has two TE sets to work out of featuring Gronkowski & now Bennett. And Jimmy looked really good during their opening drive TD. 7-0 Pats.
Either Miami is really bad or N.E's much better than expected with Garappolo and/or without both Brady & Gronkowski. 14-0 Patriots.
Good news is we should be able to sweep Miami again this year. That's already 3 wins in the division.
The Dolphins are bad. Really bad. We should sweep them yet again for another two wins. Garappolo has impressed thus far but Miami's laughable defense is making Garappolo look much better than he really is.
Should know better. 2 things. 1) New england doesn't lose at home. 2) Miami is on a back to back road game. last week on the west coast. Very tough spot for them.
You realize it's easy to jam the signal with the right equipment regardless of who I controls it, right?
