1st RD - Chris "Beanie" Wells, RB, Ohio State
    - A speedy, bruiser. He is a workhorse. I believe he is the best option to compliment, Washington.

2nd RD - Derrick Williams, WR, Penn State
    - He isn't a tall WR, which most are drooling for, but he has potential to be a speedy, play maker.

    3rd RD - Alex Magee, DE/DT, Purdue
    - I really like this kid. He was playing out of position his Senior year, and looked very good in the Senior Bowl when placed inside. I think he will be a steal due to his Senior campaign. Misused. One of my favorite players in this draft.

    4th RD - T.J. Lang, OG/OT/C, Eastern Michigan
    - Versatility. He can do it all. He isn't amazing at just one thing, but can be good at many different positions.

6th RD - Bear Pascoe, TE, Fresno State
    - Our depth is thin, we need a strong blocking TE.

7th RD - Greg Toler, CB, St. Paul's
    - I just love what this kid brings to the table. I think he is someone that has all the physical tools you look for in a CB. Might be a steal due to the small school he represents.

I love watching college football and I absolutely love the NFL Draft. I have not done a mock draft yet, and I thought it would be fun to attempt.

I think I am terrible at "projections", I just like certain players, and I wanted to try.

    Input would be awesome!

    Thanks!

I really really don't want Chris Wells. I'd prefer Knowshon if we're taking a RB.

I guess I'd be OK with Derrick Williams. He might end up being a solid pro.

I like Magee as well.. He'd be a solid choice there.

I see TJ Lang going as high as the 2nd round. Try someone like Robert Brewster there. He's also a good option for the OL.

Bear would be an awesome pickup.

And from what I've seen, Toler could go as high as the 3rd round..

Chris Wells really puts a black cloud over this draft to me, but rounds 2-7 would be very nice (If Lang/Toler were somehow there of course)

I dont like the first two picks, I always prefer knoshown over Wells. Also I really dislike Derrick williams as a an NFL player I would much rather take someone like Deon Butler in the latter rounds

I would be satisfied with, Moreno.

Is Toler really projected that high? That is great, I mean, not for us I guess, but that would be awesome to see him go higher then the 7th round. Fantastic.

I'm a OSU fan, so I'm a little biased. Regardless, I really enjoyed watching Wells run in College, so I would be ecstatic if he were a Jet this Saturday.

I haven't been on board with Beanie Wells, mostly because of what I read on hear, but here's an interesting tid bit from Lombardi:

Last night on NFL Network both Casserly and Lombardi said Wells would be their top rated running back. I still like Moreno, but I'm not as against Wells at this point. Also, Donald Brown was on the set and he seemed extremely smart and professional. Not sure if you'd want him at 17, but he is certainly the kind of guy you want on your team.

I'm a big Donald Brown fan, but I think we're looking for a back with more power. Actually, if they took him at #17, I'd be thrilled, but I think they'll target a different style of back unless we got a tremendous value on one such as LeSean McCoy in the 2nd.

I do not want any more Ohio St. players. They miss too much time getting up to speed. Wells has been injured alot on top of that. He has bust written all over him. Plus with drafting another bust in Gholston we need to hit a homerun in this draft not training wheel projects. We wasted a top 10 pick on a player that gave us nothing last year. So we need an impact player.

    Wow..

Vernon Gholston had a lot of bust attributes leading into last years draft. Everyone seen it, unless you were completely blind. Yet, he has a lot of upside, and the verdict is still out on him.

It is unfair to label EVERY Ohio State University player a slow learner, or a bust. One guy does not represent an entire college.

Linebackers out of OSU have always been kinda on the bad side of life. This is a fact, with possibly AJ Hawk being the exception. Then again, he isn't blowing anyone's mind either. WR, RB, OL are usually strong targets out of OSU. Just saying..

There is a guy on our team named, Nick Mangold. I hear he's pretty good, and I think he started from day one. How did that happen?

    Wait.. I forgot.

All OSU players are slow, I must be mistaken then. :/

Derrick Williams would be a good pick in the 2nd round. A Penn State product with Great Speed and good hands, Lacks the size but makes up for it. Dont like Wells at #1... Rather draft Moreno or Donald Brown.

    Good response.

However, I think you may have misinterpreted the "they take too much time getting up to speed" line. I think he was talking about OSU's late end of the academic year (much later than most schools) and the NFL rule that rookies can't participate until their school's graduation/end of term.

This caused VG to miss weeks of work his fellow rookies were getting. It may have played a role in his slow progress in learning a new position.
