1) Jenkins- Whenever he was in something good happened 2) Revis- Interception, forced fumble, and fumble recovery 3) Washington- First play of the game, special teams 4) Jones- Great in the running game, good touchdown Don't forget Elam either, probably the turning point of the game, even though Jenkins put most of the pressure on that.
Revis , Jenkins , and Washington. There are very few shutdown corners in the league, Revis is one and that's exactly what he did to Lee Evans. Jenkins was a beast in the middle and Wahington was fantastic on returns once again, such a huge heads up play on the kickoff out of bounds.
jones had over 100 all purpose yards and a score averaged 5.8 ypc, think he deserves a little more credit then hes getting. great win for us.
Revis was a monster today too..... had the forced fumble and recovery and also the INT to seal the deal. He also shut down one of the biggest deep threats in all of football. Don't forget it was also Revis who made the TD saving tackle on that Lynch screen on Buffalo's 1st play.
If Jenkins is the consensus MVP, I agree Revis is 2nd or even 1A. He shut down Evans, strip sack/fumble recovery, a pick. You can't really play the position better than he played it today. Jenkins was epic, though. Pressuring and sacking the QB from up the middle off of double teams. Taking those same two guys with him on the way for a nice little meeting with the running back at the blue line.
Kris Jenkins hands down. This guy was unstoppable today. I can't remember the last time that our defensive line dominated like they did today and that all starts with the beast in the middle. What a pickup Tangini...now let's just hope he stays healthy because I believe the best is yet to come.
The last time was on MNF against the phins about 4 years back(Vilma rookie year). We had Ellis-D rob-Fergy-Abe...and we just completely MANHANDLED the Phins OL. It was an irrelevant blowout win..but one of the most dominanting D-line performances ive seen on the NFL level.
I keep hearing about Kris jenkins. Yes he was a monster today But your all disrespecting Revis. Forced fumble, recovery.. No throws his way all game. and the Pick.. Come On.. Revis all the way
Obviously, Jenkins would be the first choice. After him, TJ, Revis, the entire offensive line (no sacks, ran it very well), and finally, someone i haven't seen anyone mention to this point, TONY RICHARDSON had a lot of great lead blocks on some of our better runs and played very well overall. (including that big 3rd and 1 run on our game clinching drive)
