Like everyone else here I am not at all happy about the way the Jets have played the last few weeks. I'm getting frustrated with all the Favre int's and our gutless coaching staff. Having said that, there is a good chance we could be in a 3 way tied for first this time next week. Buffalo is a solid team, but they are far from unbeatable. They havent beaten a winning team all year. They struggled against Oakland and St. Louis. They lost to Miami and got killed by Arizona, we beat both of them. Although I am not overly confident i think we have a damn good chance at going to Buffalo and beating the Jills next week.
Well with all the freaking negativity on this board I got the impression that most Jet fans dont think we'll win another freaking game this year.
It can be won. The negativity stems from the bottom of the league causing problems for a talented team. I think that Buffalo could easily lose all 3 division games. Its the way that the NFL has gone this season. As long as there aren't beyond obvious retarded series of play, this game can be won in Buffalo.
I posted in another thread buffalos wins and losses. Got clobbered by the Cards and lost to the Fins. Wins over Raiders, Hawks, SD, jax and rams. No reason why the jets cant beat them. Tough to win there though.
Anyone know David Harris' injury situation? I'm not sure if he ever got back in the game, and am worried his injury is more serious than I had originally thought. He's a very necessary part of the puzzle in beating Buffalo.
It doesn't matter if Buffalo hasn't beaten a winning team, they have played much better than we have. If we play like we have the last 3 weeks we will not win. Buffalo is a very solid football team, not spectacular but solid but right now we have an awful offense and decent D. We better start playing better offensively(specifically at the QB position) or we will not have a chance.
The BILLS are a very young team. They had success early, but are 1-2 in their last three, with a stinging loss to MIAMI. To be quite honest, as a BILLS fan, I really don't know how they will respond to adversity. There doesn't seem to be potential cancers (Terrell Owens types) on this roster, so it seems they will respond well. The game should be a very good game. The JETS are better than you guys give credit. I still think the BILLS will win though.
Its as simple as this......0 INTs from Favre and the Jets are VERY likely to win this game. We need another strong rushing attack this sunday and some sound QB play. Buffalo is decent but nothing exceptional. Their coach sucks ass too. I laughed my ass off last week when that douchebag Adam Schein said that Jauron is one of the best coaches in the league. LOL
....and Jauron just got a 4 year extension from the Bills. The run game is going to be toough this week. Big old Marcus Stroud in the middle of the D Line is going to create match up problems. Yes. Faneca will help but still going to be tough to run, especially since all our rushing yards come between the tackles. Two big tests this week: Revis trying to shut down Lee Evans and our LB's staying with Lynch out of the backfield.
We can definately win. I think whoever wins the turnover battle and field position battle will win the game.
We need to pound the rock and run a strong ball control type game to keep the ball out of the hands of our own QB.
so lets get this straight. many people are bashing the wins the jets have this season correct? but the two losses that buffalo has dont matter just because everyone says right? look the league has more parity than ever this year. all of these awful teams aren't to far away from being good, and the good teams are a few good breaks away from being awful. the jets lose to the chargers and raiders, the bills lose to the dolphins and the cardinals. the bills have played better than the jets this year i think, but not by a huge margin. they had to make a comeback against the raiders in the fourth quarter. because it wasn't the jets thats fine because good teams win in the fourth quarter. yesterday the jets make a fourth quarter comeback and everything about is bad, even the td is pass was horrible according to our fans. i didnt get the jets game here yesterday so i had to listen to it on the radio, i was getting the bills game instead. i watched the entire game. the bills did nothing special yesterday. this game is going to come down to field position. both teams are pretty even i think. if one team is starting pinned back inside the 25 all day and the other team is starting closer to the 50 the team with better field position will win. that has been the case in 2 of the 3 jets losses. if they can find a way to control the field position battle which is usually a function of good special teams than the jets will be able to pull out the win.
A win in Buffalo would be Fucilla Honda huge. When was the last time the Jets won IN Buffalo? Yeah we can win if we can contain Lynch, get pressure on Edwards and not throw multiple INT's. Surely they cannot play as sloppy as they have in the last couple-tree weeks.
A for effort but its Fucillo Chevy I think we can take them this year. We just have to make less mistakes then they do.
