haha love that last week after feely nailed the 52 yarder to force OT he was the better kicker. We should stay with the hot leg they said. Now he misses a kick, and bam he's chopped liver again. that said I was not a fan of Feely when we brought him in, that said, since Nuge was broken, we needed a replacement, and Feely was the best of the bunch.
Long enough to have seen Leahy,Blanchard,Lowery,Silverstri,Hall,Brien, Nugent and now Feeley. I'll say it again...Feeley is the worst kicker I've seen on the Jets.
When John Carney gets releases he's the kicker i'd want or we could draft one in the 4th round so its no way he could bust
I have a feeling when Nugent comes back we'll be fine. I've always said that playing in the meadowlands it's more beneficial to have an ACCURATE kicker over a long distance kicker...b/c w/ the way the wind swirls..you likely wont be kicking too many 50+ field goals anyway...so you wanna make sure you can hit the gimmes. Nugent is inconsistent...but for the most part he is a definitive accurate kicker
