What's up with the INT's WTF man?? Coles double covered and a throw directly to the Chief if this was Penny most of you mofos would be calling for his head. 9 INT's that's a fucking lot for a team who wants to make the playoffs. Yeah defenses made a couple of good plays on a few of them but there were many that were totally irresponsible by Farve unless he is colorblind no way should he throw the ball to location where there isn't a team member in sight. These are the types of INTS I loath and we have seen too many since the start of the season.
Actually that's 10 interceptions now, most in the league. But the other guy is benched so Favre should have clear sailing the rest of the way. hmy:
Man I just can't believe this shit, a team ranked 32nd in the league in rushing and here we are not using that to our advantage. Another pick by Brett, at the least the defender made a nice play I put this one on the O coordinator because he called a pass play on 3rd and 2 against the worst run D in the league.
Guys, who's at fault here? The legend who's played great for 16 years in the league or the unproven coaching staff? I don't see how any of you guys can blame Brett because he's already proven he can play.
That point is null and void. We don't care what Favre did in the past it gave our club no benefit. Right now he's hurting us real bad. Very concerned right now about the season.
Or maybe you need to realize that's not all Favre's fault and that he's being put in a terrible position.
I'm not saying he isn't. But he also normally has a much better TD to INT ratio compared to what it's been lately. And that's because of the play-calling (no play-action, no going deep, 3rd and longs, etc.)
From now on Favre will not be credited with any INT's. All INT's will officially be credited to Eric Mangini (unless it's a bad play call and then it's credited to Schott).
Pennington is the best qb in the afc east right now.. Go figure. This is the luck of the jets.. Guess a strong arm doesnt mean shit.
What are you trying to defend? The first 2 interceptions were both on Farve. The WR was double covered and he forced it up. He could of easily checked down or thrown it out of bounds. The playcalling wasn't all that bad in this game.
Get off Favre's Jock. He has played VERY poorly. Who cares what he did in Green Bay? i could care less about his past, that won't help us win games. Open your eyes and stop drinking the Favre Koolaid. The last TD was a horrible pass too, just a great play by Coles.
A terrible position? He threw a pick 6 on the 10 yard line? Or did the coaching staff tell him to do that? On 3rd and 1, he had 2 open receivers and he throws deep? That's not the coaching staff, that's Brett Favre. i'm not saying our coaching staff is great, or even good for that matter. But people need to realize that the coaches don't throw picks in the RZ or throw deep on 3rd and 1.
How? He has the weapons around him. Has a decent oline in front of him. The run game has been a factor as of late. How is that a terrible position for a QB? He needs to make better decisions.
I'm more annoyed with the play calling by Eric and Brian than Favre. It should have been a smash mouth pound them game with some play action thrown in. Instead, we have a bunch shotguns where the defense knows you are going to throw. I'm also not sure why we didn't run on the 3rd and shorts. This is the 32nd ranked rush defense and the 13th ranked pass defense. Run the ball. The first INT looked to be another miscommunication between Favre and Cotchery. The second one was a poor decision by Favre. On the 3rd one, Chansi stopped on his route. Not a good game overall by Favre, but he did lead us to the win at the end.
who cares if the run game has been good. it hasn't helped the pass game at all because the coaching staff hasn't utilized it by running play action on 1st and 10s or 3rd and shorts.
i'm not saying Favre has played great this year. he hasn't. but he did play great in the one game they opened up the offense for him in the AZ game. and that doesn't mean passing 40 times, it means throwing deep, running play actions, and still running the west coast. not running on every 1st down and passing on ever 3rd and long. Obviously either the coaching staff is gonna have to step up or Favre is gonna have to play great to overcome the terrible coaching staff and neither has happened so far. You can blame either one you want but you'd be ignorant to say bad playcalling doesn't lead to bad throws, lack of scoring, and INTs
I was fine with a pass play, but at least do it with a RB in backfield. that's football 101 right there.
