A friend of mine needed an xtra ticket to the game, so I started looking around on Ebay for him. I cannot get over how many Jets v Chiefs tickets are posted for sale. It's almost embarrassing...I hope I'm very wrong about this, but its not looking like attendance is going to be very good on Sunday. Kind of pisses me off...why do people bother even buying season tickets if they don't even go??

A sea of red seats awaits, especially if it rains. Better get some extra green drapes ready.

I'm considering going down to this game. Do you guys think it's safe to try and buy a ticket there or should I get them before hand?

The Jets are undefeated when I attend (5-0).

You should be ok, just try to buy from a guy who looks like a fan with an extra ticket. The thing you want to avoid is a fake/counterfeit ticket, they're a lot easier to do than they used to be. Avoid the people standing on the highway on the way in.

If you arrive in the parking lot, check with guys at big tailgate parties. They are usually diehards , there every game, and usually have a ticket or 2 to sell.

They wouldn't put the screws to you like a scapler.

think about the cost and time commitment that going to every game requires......plus, the Chiefs are awful so why bother paying?

I'm speaking more along the lines of my fellow season ticket holders...Why spend your money for season tix if you're not going to bother? I realize that it's an all day committment, but you think a team who is 3-3 gets fired up in a stadium with 25,000 people in it? Crowd is a major factor in the NFL...and we haven't had much of a crowd factor since our playoff run when we beat the Packers and Colts.

I agree with the buy on ebay suggestion.

If you buy at tghe stadium from a fan (instead of the scalpers) you will probably end up paying face value or feel like you are screwing them over. If you buy from a scalper you risk getting fake tix.

The jets tix echange is sometimes cheaper than stub-hub so you can check there and get parking included and haveit all emailed to you, so thats a good low risk option.

Ebay has always been the cheapest for me and I have never had a problem. I have even gotten $.99 tickets last year.

For season ticket holders that can't go to the game, think about donating your tix. Its really easy, you just mail them in. Plus if prices are less than your tax rate * face, just send them to tix for kids and take the deduction; better deal for you. Plus you will know that someone will go in your place that is VERY excited to go!

I am really hoping it is a good turnout, i just checked the weather network and it is expected to be Sunny and 16 on Sunday. It is my first trip to New York from Toronto for the game and I am pumped.

Question...is the 351 bus from the PABT the best route to get to the meadowlands from Manhattan?

Yes, the 351 is really the only option from NYC. There is the option of taking the train from NY Penn Station to Secaucus Junction, then take the bus from there. In fact that was the only option for the Patriots game, but the bus route is back. You will buy tickets for the bus in the terminal, towards the back. Just follow all the people in Jets jerseys, you can't miss it.
