This is the point in the season where we believe as JETS fans: This is it!!! The lowest of the Low and from here we rise. This is where we rally and win 8 of the next 10. Gel as a team after hitting rock bottom and see the team finally become what we know they are. or This is the point in the season where we ask ourselves as JETS fans: This is it??? This is what we are after 6 games, Pathetic. If we lose to KC it's Over because there's no hope losing to the 2 worst teams with 1 at home. It's life or death from here on and it's basically over. Which is it? Is it over? :sad: or Do you Believe? (Cue Dramatic Orechestral theme)

abyz, what's scary is that you knew exactly where that was :lol: In your fav's huh? Yeah, I coulda easily put a .500 in between but that's no fun. I figured with 95% of the posts it's Gloom or Green Glasses so it's either-or. Especially with all the Blame this guy, that guy, cut him, fire him.
For the future reference, don't use the word "good" (and anything that's better) and "Jets" in the same sentence ever again. They have nothing in commmon.
Remember how many people were writing the team off after we blew it in Cleveland 2 years ago before we came back to beat the Pats in Foxboro and cruise into the playoffs? This loss is a bump in the road, no doubt, but I know we are better team than the one that showed up on Sunday, and even though we played piss poor we were still just one break away from winning that game. Hopefully we can take our anger out on the hapless Chiefs this weekend before focusing on what looks to be a make or break game up in Buffalo.
i think we are better then a middle of the road team. i think we "should" win 9 games minimum. we have 3 wins now. beat KC, split with the bills, beat STL, lose NE & tenn. thats 6 wins. beat den @ home, beat SF thats 8. with seattle and miami left.
We also cruised past Oakland the last game of that season. Good thing that wasn't this past Sunday. I'm non-committal on this one, only because there isn't a choice that says, "Woulda, coulda, shoulda!"
We're 3-3 after 6 games. Holy shit it's been much worse before, and there are a dozen teams in the NFL who would love to be in our position right now after 6 games. Let's all relax and have some faith in our team. This is it!!
Yes because if a team plays like shit loses to a team that drafts in the top 5 every year, and looks completely lost while doing it.. There is some good in everything .. right..
You gotta think that we're going to improve with time. We have too much talent on both sides of the ball to be a .500 team. After the giant Cardinals win I thought we'd be rolling straight to the playoffs, but apparently the team still hasn't developed the chemistry necessary to win consistently. Hopefully that'll come with time and maybe we can make a roll to 10-6.
The NFL is a funny league where ANYTHING can happen ANY week. One week teams look like they are finished, the very next week they look like playoff contenders. It is happening all over the league, not just with the Jets. Sure it looks bleak now, that was an incredibly bad loss to a horrible Raiders team. It will all be forgotten if the Jets go into Buffalo and beat them. I'm reserving judgement until the next 3 weeks are finished. We will know for sure by then what kind of team they really are, I'm not sure, I still think(hope) they are better than what they have shown so far.
