The chiefs are easly the worst or 2nd worst team in the league. If we loose mangini should just quit after the game

Apparently you haven't heard that the season is over after this weeks loss. We might as well start playing for draft position.

You got it, I couldn't say it any better. And I think we need to start looking at drafting some kind of pass rusher, because we made Russell look like Elway yesterday

When its herm and the hopeless chiefs then it becomes a must win. I dont make this post every week. My point is its painful now to think about the jets but if we loose next week it will be another low

True. That's always worked out well for us. We should hope to end up in the top 6 picks again so we can draft the next Vernon Gholston.

 So true but people will still be pining for draft position in a month or so. We know the Chiefs will come in here and play to win the game, they almost won at NE in Week 1.

    All time low...?

You must be new here. I remember ALOT of "all-time lows" during the Kotite era.

You are right though, they MUST win, but only because
they have Buffalo, Tennessee and New England coming up. Sprinkle in St, Louis, who is playing better, this is a tough stretch.

I gotta admit..that drew a chuckle from me.

In Vernon's defense, other than Matt Ryan, no rookie who was selected in the top 10 is lighting it up. Maybe McFadden, who had that 164-rushing game against the Chiefs.

I still believe Vernon will make an impact with the Jets before his career is done. When and where,,I don't have that answer.

One more thing..the player who has disappointed me the most has been Cotchery. I thought with the addition of Favre, he'd blow up. Yesterday...one catch..0 yards. Brad Smith had a better game.

That was a standard line from Ian Eagle on Jets Point After back then....."this may be a new all-time low for this franchise." He said that almost every week, right after Kotite got done saying "We played hard, didn't leave anything on the field.."

Who cares who we are playing next week? We have to win to get back in the race, the next 2 weeks are must wins b/c we cannot afford to lose to Buf and drop another game behind them.

I wonder if there will ever be a loss where at least three people are not called out to be fired/cut/traded.

Agreed, These threads are pointless. Every week is a must win for Christ sakes. Since last week was a Must Win game what happens now? I mean we lost, so since we lost a "Must Win" game what happens?

There is no game that you can say "we can afford to lose" unless you have locked a playoff spot. Lets just move on and try to win the next game.

I still cant figure out why I come here the day after a loss, I should just wait till about friday when what remaining hope anyone has that we will win starts to come back to the posts.
